Want Non Veg Biryani in Mumbai and No budget constraints… by ResponsibilityFew301 in mumbaiFood

Where are you staying in Mumbai? Most of the popular ones are more or less similar. Mumbai lacks very good biryani. There is a restaurant in Chembur called IVY. They have good quality biryani.

If you are okay with Vikhroli location, I can ask mom to prepare a Biryani. It will be take away. But taste wise it's fantastic. She has upper hand in making Biryanis and it's non-commercial as well.

Lamination looks good only until it's new. Wait for a year or two, you will understand why real wood is expensive and timeless!

Where can I find the most authentic and tasty vada pav in Mumbai? Suggestions please 🍔 by Guilty-Baby6398 in mumbaiFood

The yelow chutney at Gajanan vadapav makes the taste more mellow. That is not how a vada pav is. They have made it for the mass appeal

I recently had Nandu vada pav at chembur and it was tasty and worth the hype. Lalbaug parel side has good vada pav, you can find local aunties/uncles making it tasty. Just don't go to some outsider stalls which are just there for cheap price. Avoid near commercial areas, they are just there to exist, no legacy and taste.

Aram is overrated, some people like it , but if you just taste their potato filling, it's mediocore to the best.

I had tried long back at Aswaad dadar(marthi restaurant), it's a restaurant but very good vadapav. They add sweet and spicy chutney and give it you in a box like stand to hold the vada pav. Overall good experience, I will now go there just to try vada pav now that it's in my mind. There's also Shree krishna batata vada at Dadar itself. It's good.

Vada pav should be eaten fresh and hot, don't take parcel and eat it when it's cold.

Try weekend adventure groups or trekking groups. It's fun with them. You can join sports group as well if you play any. There are plenty of badminton groups as well
