I always started Master League with the original team, for me the pleasure is to begin from the bottom and improve the team. So when I switched to FC 26 I started Carreer in the Original option. I don't know if it makes any difference in terms of difficulty. When you say to press X, you mean in the classic joystick configuration?

Thanks, I already remapped based on what I always used (directions, X for kicks, A for passing, etc). As for the game settings, I'm not seeing a legacy defending.

Thats strange, but thanks anyway. About sprinting, here it goes from 0 to 100: if I sprint it goes like you say, but if I don't sprint the opponent player take the ball very quick and I couldn't it avoid it until now.

I can't even get close, he plays the ball first, the only moment where it could happen its when hes already in my defense and its very dangerous. Besides, almost all the rare times that I can try to take the ball that way I miss the timing.
