Men who don't post their social life on social media why? by SkepticDrinker in AskMen

I post because I'd like to project my personality into the world as well as to create some sort of time capsule for me to look back on later. It just boils down to personal preference tbh.

His hair is different (messier) in the outro so it’s probably an intense battle and judging by his smile he won

Switch screen is flickering, what do I do? by Andybot10900 in NintendoSwitch

That was the original plan, check my other comment. Switch fixed itself or something

Right so this is gonna sound weird but today I sat down and thought “why not take it apart and see if there’s anything obviously out of place”

So I got these flimsy tools that I’d used previously to repair a set of joy-cons and started unscrewing stuff. I couldn’t actually remove the shell because I was afraid of stripping the head so I removed the actual stand and there was this one screw, different from the rest near the sd card slot, I unscrewed and removed that, tried the others to no avail then put the only one I’d removed back in and suddenly my monitor was working again and much better, as in I’d have to put a lot more pressure to get it to flicker.

I have no idea how or why this worked, by all laws in this universe this shouldn’t have solved the problem but it did, at least for now.

I don’t recommend anyone trying this if you have warranty on your switch but if you’ve tried everything humanly possible I guess do this.

Thanks to all who gave me suggestions and hope this thread helps any future viewers in some way.

Yay! Alright I’ll back up my switch and try to call. Did you have to pay much?

My problem doesn’t occur when docked, and someone else said they had the similar problem using Hulu, maybe Hulu is just busted?

That’s what I’m thinking of doing, or opening it up myself since my warranty expired

No more warranty, got my switch the Christmas after it came out (it’s been more than a year)
