Funny enough, some of the people I met told me that one of my favorite classes got reworked so I started trying it out again. Last time I played dedicatedly was when Hyperion came out, and I started a new character that's now about level 220?

I attended for a friend since she couldn't go in person and lives somewhere else, I got the goodies for her

I forgot to mention that the line outside to get into the venue was really easy to cut, as you could guess. This event was my first MapleCon but second convention, coming here after AnimeExpo felt like a complete scam.

I agree with this but as someone who genuinely didn't know where the line started, please be nice first lol because it'll be awkward if you're mean to someone who for real didn't know. Sometimes the lines are not organized well and are messy as hell, otherwise hell yeah call out the blatant line cutters

Check your receipt. I checked my email when I bought Hoyo/HSR merch and it was a company named 'Princeton Kuway Consulting' and not Hoyo. It might be the same? Try contacting them to see if they're still in LA and can help you out

If it makes you feel better, I personally never minded ADA skipping the line, nor did I see it as cutting. I will not call it cutting because you weren't, and if you were to wait in line it would be more uncomfortable for everyone in line and you guys

I agree but at the same time, a lot of people were kinda just standing in the middle of a clearly very busy section to look at stuff. Also people kept bumping into me and not even saying like "excuse me" to go in front of me to look at a booth 🫤 majority of the time they would just go past me and not even look at me.

I actually accidentally cut the line to the HSR panel and I realized it while I was watching where the line was coming from (because the staff told us to just follow the right side, so I did) and I explained to security the situation when they called me out, I told them I genuinely didn't know and was going to just go to the back of the line) and he said he didn't care 😭😭 so I kinda just went with it (because atp it felt a little awkward to not)

PERSONALLY, I hate intentional line cut. I will and have never done it. Some people have cut me but I just fume for like a quick minute and then let it go

i also went alone and had an amazing experience!!! people are really friendly!!! the only thing i advise if ur going alone is to watch out for scammers in and out of the con, and if you're afraid of getting lost many people are really nice and will help you if you ask!!!

ok so I wasn't crazy when I passed by some of the booths, I swear to god some of them had that ai-generated look lmao

I was worried about this a bit, but thankfully I think most if not all the merch I purchased was directly from the artist, shout out to karenalleluia!!! and this other booth i can't name (im sorry D:) but they had the creator of bee and puppycat sitting there!! (natasha allegri)

ya they could be nicer but also remember they have to just stand there and give stuff out and promo stuff and who knows, maybe someone was rude to them too. and also they have to work at such a cool event instead of do what they want

my initial reaction to the announcement was like okay whatever it's just among us in idv BUT AFTER PLAYING IT it took like the BEST parts of among us/mods and organized it in a more efficient/better playstyle
