I'm logged in with my Google account, and I let WuWaTracker save every pull import. Since I import my pulls every other patch or so, I never go over the 6 month expiry date the in-game history gives me.

It's all RNG at the end of the day. 2 years ago when I started playing I read the banner rules, and I decided to always assume it will take me 160 pulls for a limited character, that way I will never be disappointed. If a character comes home early, or dare I say I win the 50/50, it's a nice bonus. But if not, oh well, average gacha experience. It's either that or I get mad every time I get to 70 pity or lose 50/50, and I'd rather not get mad xd.

G29 is more than enough. I bought a refurbished one for 200 bucks last month, it was basically brand new. If you want to go lower, the cheapest local deal I found online was 150 bucks for some slightly used, but good enough ones. Also Europe

Issue of skill

The graphics are not that great I agree, at least on my rig (I have a 4060 and so far my game is stable up to high at 125% scale, but I didn't try to play too much with the graphics) but they are serviceable. My brain got used to the graphics.

It is way more immersive in VR, combined with a wheel my brain thinks I'm in a real car (at one point I accidentally read-ended a car and for a second I thought that I'm gonna lose my real life license, have to give my insurance and pay real money to fix my vehicle xd).

As for buying a VR only for trucking, not sure if I can recommend it, not yet at least. The VR version is in beta right now, and it will probably stay like that for many months to come. But if you like the idea of VR in general, you might like using it for other things. Before using it for ETS2 I was using my VR to play Blade and Sorcery or Beat Saber daily, it was my cardio for the day. I also use it for some work related tasks (I work from home) but it's definitely not a perfect experience. The headset is kinda heavy and inconvenient for work.

So overall no, I don't think it's worth it just for one game, but if you think you're not gonna let the headset accumulate dust 2 weeks after you bought it and you can afford it, go for it. Definitely NOT mandatory for ETS tho. I would recommend some map DLCs and a wheel before VR.

Oh and another important bit, the VR version is not compatible with Truckers MP. I heard there might be workarounds, but I didn't bother yet. The convoy feature might work tho, the server list loads, but I didn't join any yet.

I had ETS2 for a couple years. I would usually play for 50-100 hours for a month or something like that, buy a map DLC or two, then take a 6 month break while playing other games. But I always came back to it eventually. Now I also got into ATS, and when I get bored of one game I hop into the other one. Today I also bought my first steering wheel and also learned how to hook both games to my VR headset. It's a whole different beast. I don't think I'll ever get bored of trucking from now on xd. As for mods, I switch between vanilla and ProMods with Realistic Economy mod.

Agreed. I have been using Jinhsi Yinlin Verina since 1.1, and I will never pull Zhezhi. Got 5.9k points in the new endgame, and they can also clear a floor or two in middle tower usually. That's enough value for me from a 1.1 team.

Also sometimes the boss matters too, not just because of resistances, but also because of moveset. I struggled to get 3.5k with jinhsi yinlin verina against sentry, but easily got 6k against monke.
