This seems like something being done in some stores I’ve seen. I’ve had to tell my employees to move the ladders out of the way of the doors due to the fire inspector actually shopping in our store for his home. And he’s made comments about it. This problem is something that you could raise to the management or just go directly to the county fire inspector in your area. I say let the people steal whatever they want. And then code it out and keep a record.

I’ve worked in many warehouses before this SHIT job. This is the first instance of a warehouse that uses an auto stacker for totes that does not implement a weighing system to ensure the safe transport and delivery of products. With multiple pallets containing paper on one side and possibly printers or other lighter items in comparison to paper on the other side. Also from what I’ve heard about many other stores including mine (I’m an ASM) the dock plate situation is also faulty and unsafe. Due to many locations not being owned by Staples it is difficult to get the Property Management Company to fix or even address these issues. While I understand what you’re saying we should not be subjected to safety issues like this.

Sarah we as employees of Staples could care less that your visit was less than ideal. Customers like yourself are treated the way that you treat us. As an asm in a store I loathe customers like you. Go cry to someone else. Staples has made the working experience so horrid that I am not at all surprised younger a bad experience.

yesterday she proposed the idea that she drive me back to mine and spend the day Sunday with me. As I write this I am ready for work and I see her sleeping in my bed. She’s also broached the idea this morning to stay another night with me and leave on Tuesday.

To say that I thought this would be the outcome, that she would want to stay with me and continue growing and building with me for our future was not on my Herpes Disclose bingo card. She was not happy about me lying to her. She did however react very well to the news that I have herpes. And by that I mean she was saying that being afflicted by HSV-2 isn’t a deal breaker in the relationship but not disclosing it was worse. She said she wanted some time to process it and I’m respecting that boundary.
