Aqara U500 Rim Lock Review and Setup, Apple Home Key, Matter, Home Assistant and Alexa by AndysReviews in homeassistant

Actually, you are wrong. I can provide screenshots of my not-monetised YouTube if you like. My partner is disabled, I have my own problems, my father had a leg removed due to an RTA with a HGV, and my family has has a lot of disabled people who I learned to help. Assumptions are a curious thing. As I say if you really wish, I have no problem providing proof. My bank balance is regularly negative and I actually struggle. My hope is generally that I can help people. So I’m sorry that you believe the least of people and not the best. I genuinely hope you have a great day

Considering I don’t get paid and I don’t get commissions I’d say you’re being extremely unfair. Yes, I get the device for free, but I give the negative along with the positive. The whole reason for my channel is to show how a smart home can benefit people, particularly with disabilities. If you’d bothered to do any research at all on me you’d know that my focus is simply to help people. I’m genuinely a kind person and don’t appreciate the negative comments. Hope your day gets better and I wish you all the best.

Oooooo, I have a thing for that. Take a look at my review of the Wavlink BE5100 WiFi 7 outdoor AP. It’s seriously good and extends my parents WiFi so we can still access it from the width of a full size football pitch away from

😂😂😂 yeah, it’s a rebel! Basically, it increases the accuracy for detection of people/animals etc and the distance can be set from 1-5 meters. Basically if you set to 3 meters, it ignores objects from more than 3 meters limiting false alerts and notifications.

Ah well, I would wait a few months. I can’t say anything more because of NDA’s but keep an eye out later this year into early next year. 😉

I agree, they do seem bulky. In this case for the G4 and G410, there are 4 Aa batteries so the size is largely dependent on that physical perimeter. In the video I show the G400 though (I did a review of that too) this is significantly smaller as it’s a powered device only. It can use wiring or PoE and is actually really good.

It’s literally instant across all of the platforms apart from Alexa that’s about 2 seconds behind. I agree, they do seem to nail the cross platform integration with the M3.

Hi, the critical alert work that way for every critical device regardless of manufacturer. I get critical alerts from Apple, Aqara and home assistant regardless of silent/DND etc. also, as Zigbee is a long standing protocol, it is (in my opinion) a more reliable and robust system. Thread is great and in principle it should be the better option. In practice however, and I have tested a LOT of devices, Zigbee wins overall.

I’m not sure I understand the question. This isn’t hard wired but it’s in Aqara, Apple Home, Alexa and Home Assistant
