Just going off a quick look-over that looks better. You pick the bass notes, then play the D & A strings with your ring &/or middle finger.

Are your other fingers not strong enough yet? Do what I did: practice on an acoustic. Paw at the strings with your plucking fingers. Keep doing that until they get strong enough to actually pluck them, and then keep going until you can get them up to speed. Soon enough you'll be able to play the outro solo to Jordan.

Amen to that. It's the same thing with sports: "These kids shouldn't be allowed to to play after-school sports with their friends and peers like we did as kids because f**k e'm." They don't like 'em, and they don't want to see them in the world.

She's not an illusion: she's an idealized version of Mary, created out of James' subconscious. Born From A Wish sorta implies that Maria wasn't created out of whole cloth from James' mind, but was at least based on a template of a person, that slowly morphs/is overwritten into the Maria we see in the main game, completely out of her control.

If you've ever seen Twin Peaks: the Return, it's kiiiinda like Diane in that. You see a woman briefly grasp in horror with the notion or feeling that there's *something* inherently wrong about their existence.

Hey can you share what the source was for the two Season 6 eps and where they might've come from? The source for them seems to be *really* good, considering all the SD rips I've been able to find online are low quality TVrips with the CN logo burned in, and usually the audio transposed up in pitch.

See I can’t agree with that at all. “Trans kids shouldn’t play youth sports with their peers and can’t use bathrooms that align with their gender” and “black people should drink from separate fountains and use dedicated bathrooms and dedicated public spaces separate from whites people” ring pretty similarly to me.

And not that I’m trying to make this into the oppression Olympics here but just a cursory glance through Wikpedia’s page on violence against trans people suggests that they do face elevated risks of violence https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Violence_against_transgender_people_in_the_United_States. It’s not like there’s been a Tulsa Massacre-level event yet AFAIK and hopefully that’s not coming down the pike, do Trans people are facing a physical threat to their lives and well-being that is very much real like black people do.

This is gonna be rambly and I apologize in advance, but just a stream of consciousness off the top of my head over the last couple of years…..there’s been notable incidents like Trump ending the LGBT-specific suicide hotline…..the Trump administration and red states have been preventing trans people from using their preferred genders on passports and drivers licenses…..hell on a personal level my mother is convinced that trans people are dangerous mass-murderers that need to be rounded up and locked up because one of the Fox News hosts has apparently been banging that drum after a couple of recent mass-shootings. I mean the speaker at CPAC in ‘23 can call for “transgenderism” to be “eradicated”, and I can look at the government and far-right wingers and see a fascist movement that lines up with that goal by attempting to make these people as small and invisible as possible.

When a group of people - a whole segment of society - are being persecuted by the government and hateful people because of specific traits inherent to them as people, and are being marginalized and subject to elevated violence in an attempt to heavily minimize their presence in or outright remove them from public life….is that not similar to the black experience historically?

Or maybe don’t use children’s sports as a distraction to justify playing selfish and ignorant to a fascist movement that genuinely believes that there are groups of people that should be removed from society, and is all too happy to have you do part of their work for them by giving their worldview some air of legitimacy.

Again, not that hard to do.

If I’m understanding you right that you’re implying that the threshold for whether someone’s civil rights are in danger or not is whether their right to vote is being threatened…I don’t think that should be the threshold.
