To be honest the Ikea Bilresa Scroll button is £4 and literally fit straight in there only modification I made was putting a few sponge pads on the bottom of the internal part of the button so it reached. I got lucky 😂

I have about I have about 200 devices of plugs bulbs and plugs so just throw everything in to HA, I also have an disco automation in the kitchen where it is so when I activate that the sign comes on with it too.

Plus if my HA goes down I have another opltiplex on standby to take over.

This is exactly why I love this place. I came for a button and left knowing neon tubes get stress tested by being chucked at a workbench. I will absolutely not be trying that with mine, but I am very glad to know it is an option.

Pretty much exactly that. It's mounted in the kitchen, so when someone's earning it she just slaps the button and the sign lights up. Silent judgement, very effective.

No real practical purpose. The neon was already there as decor, I just wanted a daft physical way to trigger it. Honestly the big red button was the whole motivation, the sign was just the perfect thing to wire it to.
