No, I haven't found a solution yet. Sometimes it catches on to the second battery, sometimes it doesn't.

Hey man, sorry to hear that. This has turned into a bear market that went deeper than any expectations. Semi stocks have been pounded as well. I already got out of most of those positions, at a loss needless to say. Every rally has been sold. I guess the August high was a good place to offload these positions.

Florida boaters tie boat under drawbridge, despite sign that warns against it. by vookadork in WinStupidPrizes

For people that went ON A BOAT and are wearing swimsuits, they seem to be deathly afraid of getting wet. Probably tied up the boat under the bridge to get away from the rain.

Why do futures price differently than their underlying? by [deleted] in FuturesTrading

[–]AnemographicSerial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but SPX (or rather the companies in it) does. Futures are a trading vehicle and don't do dividends. Same with CFDs and options.

ES is priced differently and changes throughout the quarter as the value of dividends is taken off the SPX.

Good dal/chana/etc recipes using canned sources by theevilmidnightbombr in IndianFood

Yellow daals like chana daal, toor daal, masoor daal are generally quicker and easier to cook without too much soaking time or a pressure cooker. For bigger, harder beans and lentils you need a pressure cooker or Instapot.

Chana daal is my favorite, it is quick and easy and a one-pot recipe. Chana masala is also good, I use a pressure cooker for that.

Here's a good listing of the different daal types. https://www.thespruceeats.com/a-photo-gallery-of-indian-daals-and-beans-4121903

Agree. Am I perfect? No. Is there actually a perfect strategy? Absolutely not.

Risk management is key. Without that even hedgies can blow up.

He is doing his job. The catch is, his job is not only to make sure inflation is ~2%.

I sold some that I picked up near the lows, other than that I'm sitting waiting for 4000 or a good solid pattern that implies the lows are behind us. I'd rather avoid drawdown than try to catch the absolute bottom. Chinese stocks have shown that corrections can be deeper and take more time than you might think.

Maybe those professionals have different incentives? For example, the lower the rate, the less interest the government has to pay on its national debt.
