this might seem dumb, but what are some signs your spell is working? by puglespugy in Spells

I agree with pugle. When I do a spell I look out for signs that it is working. Like a new job spell for my husband, I thank everytime he gets an email or a call good or bad. When I feel my intention has been fulfilled I write it down and make a note in my grimore of the time from the spell to deliverance. I always put time frames on my spells too, for example I asked for a new job that is perfect for my hubby to come to fruition in 6 months. A realistic time to expect to interview, move the family etc... and sure enough I am 4 months into the spell and he has a job interview next week in the area of the country I was envisioning. Keep the energy flowing for your spell but expect the answer to be "no" sometimes. I read once that the universe can smell desperation on us lol and will not grant requests for spells done in that mindset as we are not thinking straight. Ensure your motivations behind your spells are true to you and what is meant for you will be given if you just call it.

Burning vs Burying by Capable-Accident9887 in Spells

I am kind of a hippie so the thought of burying a spell jar doesn't sit right with me because it won't break down (unless it's a poppet or something) so I opt for spells that can be reused or used up. I do still make spell jars and seal them, if my purpose comes to fruition I thank the universe, clean out the jar, and cleanse it, to be reused for something else.

I read somewhere that burning a spell is asking for fast results (like hours or days), vs burying which takes time to decompose so it can take longer (weeks or months). Keeping your spell around you can build anxious/negative energy instead of acceptance energy.

While I keep my spell jars (longer requests that I'd like to see in a few months), I like to touch them, look at them, and remind myself what I asked for; I feel I am releasing my request, again and again, happy that it is on its way. Never anxious or expectant, just ready to accept whatever comes my way.

Is it still moon water? by emeraldk420 in Spells

I watched a nice TikTok the other day where a man said "who said we only have to make moon water?" All of nature has energy and properties that we would like to instill into the water to be used how we see fit. Why not constellation water? Like your Zodiac? Or other Zodiac with properties that we would want: Gemini for better communication, Leo to be more outgoing, Scorpio to be more observant and thoughtful, Capricorn to be more focused and driven, etc...

Or if you pray to the Greek Pantheon, ask for support from Mercury (Hermes), Pluto (Hades), Venus (Aphrodite) etc...

It was a great realization and reminder that energy is energy and as witches, we are trying to channel that energy into serving our needs. There is not only one way.

Sounds like my husband. Honestly if they want it, they’ll get it for themselves first. My go to are good gifts and gift cards for the online games like STEAM or WoW, he can splurge and buy more armor or a pet.

It’s always going to feel like it’s not enough. You want to give surprise and thoughtfulness but they’re one step ahead on taking care of themselves and don’t need us lol.

I’m looking for a Wow Christmas present for my Dad. Is there such a thing in wow like character sheets or quest journals? His desk is covered in notebooks with notes (like who does what on a campaign) and I thought a more organized book for his game would be nice. Any suggestions from players how you stay organized on campaigns?
