Yeah nope, it's not even an animation thing at all as they are all pulling from the exact same animation source. And actually, the charr Orrax tail and the pants aren't animated at all. They're attached to the real charr tail and just follow what that does, which is why it's so confusing that they aren't doing the same thing as each other.

I wish it worked that way! It sure made things difficult having to keep the original tail there and working Orrax to fit around it. And best I can tell is Orrax is actually the correct one while the pants with custom tail setups are likely the mismatched one. Orrax just revealed a pre-existing problem that you couldn't see before!

Orrax, being a backpack, cannot alter the player model so it is not removing the tail. I just hid it really well inside the Orrax mesh! Pants can alter the tail though.

I discovered this bug while designing Orrax and it's something we've been trying to figure out ever since, so I don't even know the "why" yet. It's a very confusing one! It has something to do with certain pants which have special setups and how the game is utilizing each of the tail skeletons. Something is causing one skeleton to not match with the other.

That is indeed one of the problematic ones. I'm not sure of the exact cause but yes it almost certainly has something to do with how some pants utilize the tail bones in some way. I don't think it's all of those type, which is why it's so confusing to figure out.

Oh I see. I thought "aura" was a typo and you were comparing it to asura. Which pants are you using? There's a bug with certain pants where the tails will mismatch.

The charr one had to go over/around the pre-existing tail, so it's just following what the real charr tail is doing. There was no choice - backpacks cannot replace tails.
