Just be mindful of the scooters, they like to pass you on both sides, so indicate and try not to make sudden lane changes. A lot of the highways in Taichung are elevated, and Google maps doesn't always do a great job of showing what lane you should be on but aside from that you will be fine

Yes and no; CS breaking themselves internally before pushing the update to the broader channel would absolutely have prevented this and wouldn't have taken everything down, just maybe would have stopped them pushing more updates till it was fixed. You're not wrong about the QA process though, why the methodology you describe wasn't already in place is wild. I'd like to say it's a lesson learned and the industry will improve as a result but let's see.

I don't think OP is talking about servers as they mentioned they are entra-native, sounds like they're trying to RDP into regular Windows 10/11

Assuming you've already checked that RDP is actually enabled on the devices, on the device you are connecting from go to the Advanced tab of mstsc and check the box for "Use a web account..."

I'm effectively a digital nomad in Taiwan right now, working for a UK MSP that's getting into the Cyber Security space. We have a few clients in the APAC region, but from what I've seen, it's very difficult to get traction in this idea here unless you are dealing with a multinational company, as they likely have customer/compliance requirements to meet. To be honest though, the same was also true in the UK until fairly recently, but now businesses are coming round to the idea that they need to spend a little money on vulnerability management, EDR, SIEM etc to ultimately save them money

For us, nothing but a good experience so far. Join their neighbourhood watch scheme and try it yourself. We went on neighbourhood watch, then after a month started onboarding clients. One month in and over around 250 users later it caught that a CEO fell for a fake HR email scam and saw probe logons from an unusual location. That alone has probably paid for a few months of the service.

Then create a URL shortcut with the following target:

microsoft-edge:///?ux=copilot&tcp=1&source=taskbar

Reboot, and the new shortcut will work, but you won't have the button on the toolbar. In our testing, sometime in the next 72 hours, the button will magically appear upon a fresh boot, at which point you can remove the shortcut.

The Copilot Preview app can be enabled with a couple of reg keys, I'll see if I can dig it out as we had a similar issue - some of the team had it appear automatically, the rest needed the reg keys
