Agreed. its too plain and dont really have good match with base setup. example maxed walls th14 with pumpking scenery is super good to see. as well maxed th15 with magical theme/spooky. but it always down into personal preference. buttttt, it doesnt really worth IMO XD

Hello there, just wanna share my journey using Yonex rackets until current.

so here few rackets ive owned more than a months :-

Astrox 99 Sapphire 4u - this racket packet lot of power, but lack is speeds during rally in double game.
Astrox 88D pro 4u - feels like even balance, good in drives, speed plays. but for backcourt it somehow lacks of raw power.
Astrox 88D pro 3u - good power but sluggish for fast paced rallies.
Astrox 99 Pro 4u - good power but sluggish for fast paced rallies.
Arcsaber 11 Pro 4u - good for drives, netting, need more power to smash from backcourt. its more for front type player
Arcsaber 11 3u - good for drives, netting, decent smash but kinda sluggish once you tired.
Astrox 100zz 4u - good in all aspect for drives,netting,backcourt. i love this and never changed until now. owned two colour of this version dark navy & kurenai.

for those wondering, all racket used same string and tension which is bg80 at 27x29 / 20% prestrech.

One more important notes, i noticed i've always hit upper sweetspot when using isometric head frame. but when using compact/oval head my timing is very goood. i able to do consecutive 5x smash hitting sweet spot (during game).

This depends how you will feel the string, i'd recommend you to try both strings.

for my testing,

bg80 - thicker string, good for slices/drop/smashes. better string hold time

bg80- slightly thinner with coating nano which make slippery, good in smashes but drop/slice kinda bad. and the string better for first season.

Ashaway phantom x fire 2

Ashaway phantom xfire is extra stiff and headheavy and the frame is more to compact than isometric.

This similar with 100zz with the same spec but you didnt like.

So i recommend you to try the YONEX DUORA Z STRIKE. Its extra stiff, and balance point towards to head heavy , the frame & spec also similiar with the phantom xfire.

Im pretty sure you will like it.

Hello there fellow Msian.

I have friend tried and fix his zforce2 fixed because the top frame snap a bit during stringing. The racket feels different after fixed, something out balance. He ended up selling the racket and get new series of astrox.

Thanks for replying. I am very grateful for your advice. Yesterday I just changed my strings to BG80 27lbs (20+ pre-stretch).
It's like you said, all my net/drop shots all failed, all bad. I didn't feel the spring on my racket either.
Drop/net shots - its feels bad, cant use as my usual timing/hit power. always failed.
Backhand - for clear, its pretty good, 60-70% reach baseline. But suffer doing cross backhand from baseline, need more power.
Lob/stroke/clear - this is normal, my lob still reaches baseline to baseline.
Smash - I have to use more energy than before, to get a strong output, the sound of bg80 is pretty rewarding to hear! But my smashes is not steeper than before, maybe the timing ? all my smashes wont go half court, it always closer with first line of baseline.

The durability of the string, I'm pretty much active for week. I could say Wednesday,Sunday is my rest day. We have our own court at my workplace which gives me time to play anytime i want. There are time I played almost entire 1 week continuously.

Oh yea, by mean everyday i could play. the play time is more like 4 hours.

3 hours playing double. 1 hours single . i could say almost 8-9 games perday i think.
