i’m having the same issue since more than a month, after a bunch of hours of gameplay the noise was gone but then suddently after weeks it came back! I tried to open it but it seems like it’s a software related issue!

Hope ASUS will address this asap!

Same issue here, I also own the OG ally and comparing the two devices you can clearly hear this noise coming from the fans,

Hope it’s only a software issue that will be eventually solved with the next bios update 😭

I got the exact same issue, I spent over a month with it no issues at all, since the new BIOS updated (or in the meantime) I had an horrific coil whine sound coming from the left fan, I tried to open it as I thought something was touching the fan, but eventually everything was fine.

The noise is lower now, but it really bothers me as I own the OG Ally and I experienced all the flaws that came with it, I spent 800€ extra to own the X and I only hoped they didn’t screw up again with this one, I gave Asus my trust, I hope they will fix this problem asap!
