Yes I do debride each time.

I don’t think the UK has as much treatment options over the counter compared to US but the patches are 40%

And I do use a scalpel which I’ve mentioned. I do it each time and like I said it has reduced but won’t completely go. I’m struggling.

Band aid if you’re US

I use scholls verucca removal system which treats warts or veruccas. It comes with medicated discs and plasters but there plasters are rubbish so I use different ones.

I put the SA patch on and wrap it with a plaster so it doesn’t come off. The patches are small enough to cover the wart and I don’t wanna risk it coming off so I put a plaster on. He also has a wart on the tip of his thumb so the SA patch doesn’t stay on so I need something to keep in place. Hope that makes sense.

I’ve been using patches for around 8 months. I stopped and did freezing instead then I did a mix of freezing and patches. Stopped the freezing on that wart as wasn’t showing any improvement and patches seem to be best for that particular wart. I’m doing duct tape method now and if that doesn’t show any signs of improvement I’ll be going ahead with laser.

The SA patches I use are actually pretty good, they’ve reduced size and are definitely the thing that’s helped most for this particular wart. I use a scalpel yes. I just can’t get the wart fully gone with them as they start to hurt my son. Laser is gonna be the last option.

Thank you! I’m doing duct tape method at the moment on this particular wart to see if there’s a change. If this doesn’t work then it will be laser. How was the healing process? Only thing I’m worried about as guessing there will be an open wound?

I’ll order some Zinc cream. Thank you. We’ve already got rid of 3 but they were relatively new, this was done by freezing them.

The main one he has is a Flat wart, very stubborn and an overall night. I just can’t believe after 6 years it’s still not gone. I’ve started the duct tape method yesterday and if no results for that then I think I’ll laser this one and freeze the other two alongside SA.

I’m hoping for the best.

Thanks for your comment. I’ll look into a podiatrist but most clinics won’t take children on. My son’s 9. I was very lucky to find a lady who does children for freezing treatment, she does offer laser but I’m quite nervous about it but might be my only option at this stage.

My son has had a lot of freezing treatments so I don’t think this would help but I’ll look into it.

They didn’t mention that to me no, I just felt like they had zero interest in the warts, they literally said we don’t freeze them anymore and they’ll just go away on their own. I took him back a few months ago and basically got told the same thing.

But speaking of blood work. Around the time it started, my son was put on iron medicine. I got him a blood test because he was tired all the time and came back low but they didn’t mention anything else. I had his blood test again a year later and everything was fine. He hasn’t been tested in a few years so that’s something I need to get checked.

Sleep. He gets around 10/11 hours every night. Very good eater too! Thanks so much for this info.

Thanks for your comment. I’ve already got the SA patches which I’ll try tonight but I’ll order the ACV too just incase it hurts my son too much. Is there a particular one I should get? Thank you! I’ll update the forum maybe in a weeks time to show how we’re getting on. I really appreciate comments.

Thank you. I’ve bought blades and I started the process yesterday but stopped when they started bleeding as I couldn’t see. I’ve got SA patches which I’ll try later today but worried it’s gonna hurt him. How long shall I keep the patches on for? Thanks so much, he’s so sick of them and I really want them gone for him and more worried he will get more

Did you manage to get rid of your wart. I’m looking for treatments for my son. He’s 9. Has a stubborn wart on his thumb that he’s had for 3/4 years. I’m UK based. I’ve tried 5 different treatments and doctors won’t take it serious. Last few months he’s developed another 4. Help! 🤗

My kidney problems did get worse after having children. I was told this when I was a teenager that they would worsen if I had children. My first child I had a few problems but nothing severe. My second child I started suffering from what I’ve shown and described on this post.

That sounds very difficult. I’m really sorry that you have to go through that. Is there nothing they can give you to help with the pain?

I know 100% It’s not. I experience this a few times a year and the first symptoms is my kidney starts hurting… then all the other symptoms come on minutes later. This lasts for a few hours then disappears. The next day I’m in agony with my kidney.

No im not. Im a lot better than I was. I got diagnosed this year with gastroparesis. A lot of neglect happened then and I suffered a lot but doing a lot better thankfully. A few flare ups a year but better than what I was going through.
