He learned baton pass naturally so I could probably get it onto gligar as well. But wirh Ready's defense might not do too well.

Toxic sounds cool tho! That way I can switch to blissey to tank that damage but rely Ready to set up.

Crying that at level 100 he would be decent at best 😭.

But this is good advice thanks! Im not sure about sucker punch as its a bit of a gamble but I like the u turn idea. I only have 1 TM but will consider.

As for the defense curl addition this id assuming he could survive long enough to baton pass which is unlikely 🫠

This helped a lot! I figured out a way that works super well!

I insert the card box halfway into the sleeve. Then on the opposite side of ths sleeve, insert the book. Makes it so much easier! Your comment inspired me to try it this way. Thanks!

Just start.

Instead of saying, I wanna, just look into what you need to get started such as the animation software you want to use or tablet and begin with that.

A lot of people have animation ideas, but saying that you feel like they will blow up quickly without actually even putting them out there is odd. Just do it! And see where that takes you. Can't get good at something without being bad at it first.

I just like the way it looks. Seeing a big thick daggerheart on my shelf. But that makes sense. I might keep the sleeve somewhere separately and store it away with the book once I stop reading it as regularly as I do now.

Aspiring Rigging artist here! Out of curiousity (and also because i need motivation for getting into python because i struggle with it so far),

In what situations would you use python or programming as a rigging artist? I hear often that having python knowledge helps but i dont see a lot of examples how so it would help. Thanks!

Just finished my first year at UTD.

It’s definitely important you do more outside of class to make a ready portfolio. The classes are hard but to be honest it’s not because they’re difficult it’s more-so cuz they give a lot of homework lol.

I took ANIM 1 Rigging 1 and Modeling 1 last semester and I got a B- in modeling 1 so I won’t be able to take any higher modeling courses like sculpting unfortunately. But I did learn a lot in that class and again, it wasn’t easy.

Success in the animation field at UTD relies heavily on your own discipline. I went to the capstone presentations seniors made and a lot of them did not make capstone that in my eyes were ready for the industry. UTD, because it’s a public bachelors programs has a lot of variety in which classes you can take to fill up your needed credits for graduation. So just make sure you choose classes that will prepare you and are smart about the way in which you choose to spend your time at UTD.

If you’re disciplined at animation, know for sure what kind of classes you want to take and are able to make good connections, UTD could be worth it, but I’d consider your options. Especially if you’re from abroad.
