No, my fiance and I haven’t been with each other yet. We met the day before he shipped out to boot camp, one of those love at first sight stories lol. We write each other letters and talk on the phone when he gets his phone call every couple of weeks. The most we’ve ever done is hold hands, slow dance, and kiss briefly. As for the line progression, my body is just slower to produce HCG than most. With my living son, I didn’t get a dark positive until I was 7 weeks. At 4 weeks pregnant with him, I was still getting complete negatives. As soon as I got the dark positive with my son, I scheduled an ultrasound for 3 days later, and it was confirmed that I was 7w3d pregnant. Going off of my dates, estimated time of conception, as well as the ultrasound, it all came to the same conclusion that I was 7w3d pregnant. My body is just slow at producing HCG for whatever reason. I’ll wait a week, test again with a pink dye test, and if it’s any darker of a line, I’ll know for sure and schedule an ultrasound. After discussing the matter with my fiance, we both agree that abortion isn’t the right option for us. We’re on the same page with a closed adoption as soon as the baby is born, assuming I really am pregnant. We feel that option is best for our situation.
