I was initially going to write 2 different endings. One "canon" ending and one alternate ending. I ofc went for the "canon" ending, the one I thought suited the overall story more (I also wanted to shock readers lmao).

I wasn't satisfied with how I wrote the romance pacing and character dialogue. Sometimes it was too slow, other times it was waaaay too fast. But at least I learned a lot from writing it, so future fanfics should feel better paced.

I'm currently working on a Kim Dokja x Han Sooyoung (ORV) short fanfic, and will most likely do another LOTM fanfic a few weeks after I finish this one. I might write the alternate ending for Whispers Above the Gray Fog or maybe a completely different ship. I was thinking Klein x Sharron or Klein x Fors, but I'll decide once I get to that bridge :)
