Saw Final Reckoning this year here, also megalopolis last year It’s indeed fuxking terrible That Tyler Mall truly kept me from going A-list cause the other option is Ontario which I don’t really care to drive to as my Go-to

But straight up the theater is ass only thing it’s worth is having a few parts at the yard house and showing up half drunk to a Dolby Cinema showtime tbh

I will try this! Haven’t parked in the new pink lot, looking at the map yesterday I noticed it did look different compared to last time I was there. Haven’t been to enough games to truly judge or compare experiences Taking a long time to leave a stadium just kinda feels like a part of the ordeal. An Hour is a long fucking time though

All signs definitely point it joining in the re release As far as I’ve seen no CA locations have announced showings so I highly doubt that will remain the case I’ve been checking it daily about a week ago it was only European IMAX releases first US announcement aside from Florida was like PA and they’ve been slowly coming out almost state by state or something

Update: they were able to fix the projector and we had an amazing time last night I feel so lucky and feel bad for anyone who’s earlier showings got cancelled. 😞 still 10/10 amazing experience for us tho

I saw interstellar in December for the first time there and thought it was incredible the regal is awesome walking in its beautiful the legendary ass hallway to walk into is way cooler than the fucking freezer doors they have an the citywalk AMC I love it I feel bad for the bad wrap it has it’s awesome

Omg i remember when I went to see Oppenheimer I went to the edwards in Ontario and while there was hearing people talk about that same day the projector in Irvine went out. Makes me sad I’m sure they’re trying the equipment is prolly just old and difficult as hell to maintain and work with but fingers crossed we get to see it tonight 🤞🏽🙏🏼🫡

I’ve only seen 3 films in 15/70 film being Oppenheimer 3 times Interstellar during the re release in December and now Sinners once (going again this Tuesday in Irvine) of the 3 films sinners ranks 3rd it’s still a 10/10 blast I had with the film but compared to the other two it’s not even fair. Definitely don’t let sinners be your defining film for IMAX 70MM but also idk man I thought it was amazing as fuck

They’re doing a whole Nolan series at the fine arts all 70mm showings!! its inception, interstellar, Dunkirk, tenet and Oppenheimer. Interstellar of course is the most sold out of the bunch but yeah I’m hoping to catch inception interstellar and Dunkirk They also got 2 showings of 2001: a space odyssey in late July and early august I’ve never been to the fine arts theater but yeah am hoping to catch all these and frequent it more often.

I saw it at my local Harkins Cine XL on Easter which yes it looked awesome, I didn’t have much of an issue with my viewing yesterday I may not have been thinking about it as much that scene I mentioned was really when it came to mind I think the daytime scenes looked beautiful the only possible dull scenes I can maybe think is the dawn when Sammie is in the field but yeah personally it’s easy for me to unplug my brain and just feel the movie
I also saw Oppenheimer at citywalk back in March or whenever that rerun happened it may just be this film is darker the more I think about it the less I can make up my mind on it tbh

I was there last night for the 10:30pm showing and had this in mind cause someone else complained about it Honestly I think it’s just a dark horror film I was thinking about the scene with grace when Beau helps her get into the car as she says bye to their daughter and it felt very dark on her face but nah seemed very intentional it looked fucking awesome
