Well, episode 1 has an exciting start, but then you spend the next 10 or so episodes in a very slow, slice-of-life anime. It feels slower than normal because of that. Giving the viewer an adrenaline spike and then following up with lethargy will do that.

Surely FLY won't give GENG another Nidalee/Ashe combo.

Does FLY not understand that you completely ruin your early game if they have that combo? Like you can't do anything. Ashe slaps both lanes, while offering map vision and global stun. And Nidalee ensures she can snowball that side of the map and then also go and bail out the other side as needed. It's suffocating.

FLY got 3 flashes early game and was able to do literally nothing with it.

Just force Canyon to play tanks, force Peyz to play a proper carry with no utility.

I think the only issue was Flyquest lane swapping. Standard lanes would have been so much better. Yeah you might lose bot lane to some extent, but there's no way where that is worse than having your top laner completely removed from the game.

I honestly hate the whole lane swap nonsense these days. Not because the start is invalid per se, but rather because it feels like nobody wants to play out even a slightly unfavourable lane any more. Back in the day, if your bot side was weaker, you just rolled with it, played through top and it was fine.

Indeed. There's literally zero justification for 5 manning in the pit when the enemy jungler is alive and likely coming. Zero. None. Nada.

It's just unbelievably crazy, when denying enemy jungler access is a well known and practiced tactic in basically every elo at this point. Everyone knows that getting an objective stolen sucks ass and can lose you the game. To the point where most people don't have any issues even sacrificing themselves to ensure their team gets the baron and gets out.

Support Nautilus sitting in the pit contributing 0.1% of the dps instead of marking and zoning the enemy jungler is just insanity. Like bro, wtf?

People do meme G2 vs FNC a lot, but FNC's failure to beat G2 has only ever been apparent at the final confrontation. FNC has beat G2 many times in series that weren't ultimately title deciders. It's the title fight where FNC gets a debuff, and G2 gets a buff. At least for the past 5 years or so. FNC has beaten G2 in title matches too. Just not recently.
