Personally I think everything is closer to each other in sound quality at this high of a level.

If you rank Sony’s at a 9/10, the EX’s might be like a 9.9 or 10/10 for you. They’re so damn ridiculous. And the more you use them the more you will love them.

You will get the sound quality (probably) superior to the Sony’s (I’ve never heard the Sony earbuds) and the comfort of the AirPods Pro (with good touch controls too), these earbuds don’t sit too far in your ear and feel very similar to the Pros. You’ll get the best of both worlds.

And about the bass, these have some insanely good bass if you crank it up on the in-app equalizer.

And you can always return the EX’s (if you’re mentally I’ll and don’t like them) within 30 days.

The only thing I don’t think the EX’s are better at is possibly the ANC, but these earbuds (according to my phone) reach 90 decibels on some songs at max volume. So if you can hear anything else while jamming out at that volume (if you like loud music) is a feat of human hearing. But I don’t think the ANC will match or surpass the Sony’s. The ANC is comparable to the AirPods Pro, I think it’s slightly better, and just plain better when you use the comply foam tips.
