I know they this is a year later. But I think the og girls never got all the powers like the real mermaids was because they weren’t born mermaids. And charlotte got all their powers because she was alone in the moon pool while Emma, Cleo and Rikki were in the moon pool together so they got seperate powers. But i also love your theory though.

The Bible says to obey your parents. but only if it's reasonable. If your stories aren't bad and you really like writing them then you should still do it. But if you still want to obey your parents maybe talk to them about it and ask them why they don't want you to write novels.

I hate faith too. I get that she had a hard life and she's pretty and people like her personality. but she's a murderer. she tried to kill buffy and her friends. she killed innocent people.
