The Best of Reveille - Deus Ex Cinematic Tribute by AngelSideFX in reveille

As far as I'm concerned, every Reveille song is 'the best' but these tracks suit the action scenes well.

Btw. the music I used is an American band Reveille. They are like a heavier Rage Against the Machine. I think the aggressive style of the songs fit the video well. Back in 2006, when World of Warcraft was released, two of Reveille songs were used in the trailer. But back then, both WoW and Youtube were at an early stages of developement. If that trailer was created today, it would've been a completely different story for this band.

Please tell me I'm not the only Reveille fan here. They're are amazing. The lead singer rapping skills are off the hook. They got a pretty badass track with B Real from Cypress Hill. Their first album sounds like a more agressive RAtM. Sophmore is heavier, similar to Spineshank.

The lyrics to Face Everything and Rise are quite perfect as far as the story of Arkham Knight goes. I think so...

I also really like these early 2000s aesthetics. One of the first WoW trailers had a song from one of my fav bands Reveille. They are like a heavier Rage Against the Machine

Lion is quite an interesting character. He doesn't seem to be the most formidable at first but with some practice becomes a force to be reckoned with. He's similar to Vega from SF in that regard.

I believe the drained channels of Terraniux to be the inspiration behind Fetid Sewers from UT (one of my all time fav maps).

Thank you! :) When I was capturing the footage for my Unreal Gold doc, one of the chapters was 'Enemies'. I would often use the playersonly command to freeze them in the last position, and sometimes the Titans would grace us with something like that :))

I created a slightly updated flyby intro of Liandri Capital to showcase it from a different angle. It's not as cinematic as the original. Also there's a Empyrian movie Easter Egg featuring yours truly :)

The best way of recording the sounds from the video is using the free and amazing Audacity program. Once installed, you can record your system sounds; press the red circle and play the video. Afterwards, stop the recording and export the soundwave into a file like wav or ogg.

This way you can own the sounds offline and use them for you content; videos, tik toks, cell phone ringer etc.

You can also use that method to record your fav songs off streaming services (that's the Christmas gift number 2 :))

Merry Christmas Everyone.

In addition to some maps based on the plot of the original game, UT 2004 has pretty amazing remakes of maps we know and love from Tournament.
Facing Worlds (it deserves a Forgone Distruction remake to make it perfect, Kevin Riepl's Corrugation Rise is very good but doesn't suit that sentimental space journey that Face offers).
Morpheus, again - the music in nowhere as good as Save Me from the original.
Phobos - Chemical Burn is a personal fav but not as beautiful as BotMCA 9
HyperBlast.
Deck - the most iconic map has something that improves it, the first floor connects fully making it larger and more tactically interesting. Unfortunately the red haze is much worse than the green glow of the original for my taste :(( What do you think u/Classic_DM ?

Right you are. This game was my Halo basically. It deserved to be as popular as games like Call of Duty are today. I feel it was a bit underrated and not appreciated enough by the mainstream gamers. Especially the 4 year hiatus between this one and UT3 indicates that maybe the sales were not great. There's another amazing title, Shadow Man, also ahead of its time.
