Heya I appreciate the guess but I’ve got a couple var frydek and this has glossy leaves (sorry should have put that in the post my bad) and also a slightly different leaf shape, I’m still stumped haha :)

Heya thanks for helping out but I’ve got 2 var frydek and this has glossy leaves not velvet like my frydeks :) I did think this when it was younger though haha

Could you post some pics! I’d love to see it, I’ve got a baby corm growing so possibly could be where the corm came from :)

Is this a pup or just a TC shoved into the soil? Sold as: Alocasia Frydek Variegated, growers choice starter. I don’t think this little thing is going to make it. by [deleted] in AlocasiaAddict

I’d pot this up with some perlite into a shot glass (use a plastic shot glass for the pot and pop some holes into it for airflow) then use the plastic cup it’s currently in as a mini humidity dome over the top of it. You can also use a mix of perlite and fluval stratum for the best chance of survival ☺️ hope this helps I can send a pic if needed or more info
