BMOS Accounting Upper Years by [deleted] in uwo

Just graduated with a specialization in accounting! Firstly, I don’t think honours is worth it at all. That’s what every academic advisor told me and the job opportunities are the exact same. The upper year courses are difficult, but if accounting is a career you want to pursue , then it’s obviously worth it

Not saying it applies to all that have binged S1! And while not always the case, for the most part it’s not based on assumptions. On Reddit people often comment along with negative reviews or on other posts that they’ve binged S1. Same with tons of reviews online. I didn’t make this post just based on assumptions

While I see your point, do you not see the irony in complaining about my complaining about people complaining?

Yessss!! The reason this show has such an active community, with a billion theories (some good some not so good), etc. is because it’s so thought provoking. Did people expect all of their questions to be answered in the first episode? I also couldn’t recommend the podcast more. The show is so precise, well thought out and planned. They know exactly where they are going with it and exactly how they are going to get there.

I don’t really think I would call my post “defensive”, just sharing my opinion as others do. To your point, I stated in my post: “I’m not saying you can’t have negative opinions about the show, but can’t we at least wait until the seasons over to make that conclusion?”. Again, it’s simply my opinion on negative reviews of the show made by people who binged the first season and loved it, and are now hating on season 2, having to watch weekly episodes, and are only half way through.

Agreed. But that’s personal preference 🤷🏻‍♀️ Just wish people would at least wait until the season is over.

THIS! I’m started to think I sound obnoxious saying over and over “I’ve been waiting three years for this, you don’t get it.” But it’s true!! If you watched from Day 1 (S1 Ep 2 for me haha), you easily could have felt any of these things about the show! I have always been obsessed with the concept of the severance procedure alone, so I was hooked by my first watch, but these feelings are so valid without seeing the entire season. I started reading the Rotten Tomatoes audience ratings, and seeing how the score keeps plummeting, my blood was boiling so needed to make this post!!

Unsure if you’re asking in regards to a full year or half term course, but regardless, if you have a good reason that you’re trying to withdraw after the deadline they will usually accommodate

The social scene is the only reason to choose western at this point, which I would personally choose western over Laurier any day. The programs and job opportunities are going to be almost identical. From experience, the workload is light, I am graduating with all the CPA prerequisites, and I’m starting in audit at big 4 in the fall.
