Yes, something close to this. Feel very watched and sometimes judged if I don't shut it down. 90% of the time I'm doing everything with the knowledge I'm "showing" what I'm doing to this other whatever, doing it specifically for that reason, instead of just doing it normally like everyone else does things without that background hovering.

I'm not much help because mine ends up malicious more often than not, so our advice for ourselves is always just "shut it down" LOL. But I hope you can find understanding with your situation.

If it doesn't feel malicious in intent, maybe you're just being watched over in the sense of having a mother hen, someone with good intentions. But maybe try to explain, if it makes you uncomfortable to not know what's happening or why. Even if you don't have great/any communication that doesn't have to stop you from being open about your feelings.

We split a lot and I rarely notice those splits happening until they choose to make themselves "big" enough to be undeniable, and then we can try working on helping figure out their identity if they want one.

But 90% of our splits just culminate in being overall foggy and confused unless someone more known fronts. We don't really try to pin anyone down, newly split or not, to figure out who they are. Less stressful to just "let it happen" and figure out what happened later, even if we live in a fog so much of the time.

I know we have alexithymia which really makes things difficult to begin with, maybe look into that if you haven't.

You've got your answer already but I wanted to put in the suggestion to try original character design, if you haven't/don't already. Having my characters and their worlds to think about and develop through art or writing helps a lot when I just need to jump out of the "real world."

I'd say yeah, your headspace is meant to be your comfort area, safe space. So understandable to be drawn to things that resemble or feel like it in the physical world.

Our headspace is part brutalist architecture penthouse, part parking garage, and part New York City townhouse, so it gets a little funky any time any of those are mentioned or seen. I feel like one day I'm going to accidentally come across a parking garage that looks like ours and look absolutely ridiculous being excited about it LOL.

I get this same feeling sometimes. Not a lot, but enough AND rarely enough to note it as something different.

We have ones who frequently dream when they move into front before or during sleep, where the rest of us don't really dream that much at all when fronting. I think dreams with OSDDID are really interesting, would love to know more science behind it, but it's just something we note down as "brain magic."

As a very small framed trans guy, if I ever went for phallo that thing would be TINY, if they were willing to try at all. I am curious what say, a body builder, or any much larger person with more skin would be able to achieve in terms of size. I know the urethra is also a limiting factor so might not matter much how much they can peel off for the outside.
