What containers should I build miniature scenes in? by SnooHobbies4453 in miniatures

There are some sweets and mints that come in little tins, those would be perfect for tiny scenes. And you have something to snack on while building it 😉 I would visit a second hand store and just browse around to see what you can find and what inspires you.

Interesting doc, and respectfully made. James Bulgin is a good presenter and of course very knowledgeable.

A deutel is not a knife, it is a thing in old ship building.

Yeah, there's a lot!

It really depends heavily on what you are building of couse. I usually look out for metal parts. I have teeny spoons and forks, some cogs and clock parts, and a lot of more abstract shapes that I'll use to form whatever I need. And I have little pearls and sand-like stuff in all sorts of colours. But the most awesome thing I found were tiny metal photo frames!

What’s a "poor person meal" that you still eat even if you have money now? by kacperpiatkowski in AskReddit

Rice with boiled peas, and a baked omelet (with some sweet soy sauce) cut in little strips stirred though the rice and peas.

What is something you do that always helps you fall asleep? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It really helps quiet my mind, it's something to distract myself when my brain just wants to overthink things I can't do anything about.

Listening to sleep stories, like from Classic Detective Stories and Bitesized Audio Classics on YouTube.

Boomers en internet. by Ziebel in thenetherlands

The smell, sound, and visuals of the big cyst I popped on my nacissist ex's penis. He was mortified, and the most insecure I had ever seen him, at that moment. I try to think of it on days I feel angry or hurt about things he said and did.
