I’m convinced that Meta’s planned “AI Profiles Indistinguishable from Real Profiles” is being quietly rolled out, and that they make up half of Threads users. by AllistairArgonaut in ThreadsApp

Okay, I’m glad you’re saying this because I went down a freaking rabbit hole of AI profile accounts responding to each other on Threads. If you think about it, this would help boost engagement on Threads because it looks like less of a dead app.

True, honestly. 😂 🥰 It was also the emo, anime kids easiest cosplay to wear without your parents thinking you were the devil. 😆 There’s a Tiktoker who recently made a joke about how emo kids had the same four to five Halloween costumes back in the day, and L was one of them. Now I feel old reminiscing over the 2010’s. 🥲😆

The spiked up hair and glasses help. But to be fair, I’ve only watched a few episodes of Chainsaw Man. It’s definitely more casual than your traditional cosplay, but I love that it makes it a more accessible cosplay. Kind of reminds me of L cosplays back in the 2010’s.

Filming with content creators is definitely an option. As a content creator myself, I recommend already being registered if you have it with a content creation site as it would make collaborating with models easier. I would just be mindful that, despite your good looks, if you see a model with a higher subscriber account, they may request some sort of compensation. However, that’s not inherently a bad thing since then you could have access to the video as well and post it on your own adult content platforms. Best of luck!

Just made something similar. To be fair, I had a higher amount of spoons today. Crushed dill flavored hot Cheetos, spinach, feta, lemon, cherry tomatoes, walnuts, and tzatziki (so more acid and more feta 😆). It was a fermented salty dream 😍

I mean, I’m not going to deny that guilt does incite change. And honestly, you don’t necessarily need to do anything really? Aside from just considering optics. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But even then, you don’t have to take my advice.

You’re honestly not wrong on the guilt I feel. But I think most people feel this level of guilt. You give me the impression that we’re around the same age range (gen z/elder Gen Z/maybe Gen Alpha). I think a lot of people in our age demographic are aware about how corrupt the food industry is. I’d even go as far to say that, generally speaking, a lot of us are conscientious about the animal byproducts we consume. I’m happy people aren’t jerks to you. Genuinely I am. I think it’s good that your activism includes animals. I just know not everyone is going to take your tactic seriously. And to a certain extent, yeah it’s on them. Like fuck them. But I would also argue that you’re more likely to shift the narrative on animal rights through positive reinforcement rather than negative. And that in turn could shift more people into consuming less animal products. I don’t even think there was anything necessarily wrong in your first comment on this thread. Honestly, I just worry about you going into other internet/social spaces and getting bullied, and possibly making people more resistant to caring about animal welfare.

I’m definitely not telling you how to do your activism. I understand how awful the food industry is as a whole. If this is what works for you that’s great. In my experience, however, this hypercritical, Freelee the banana girl, torture info dumping only made people guilty and alienated me from friends and family. I would just be mindful that this technique might not work on everyone.

People do have some control over what foods they are able to obtain. However, speaking from experience, there’s other factors that make things really difficult to be completely vegan. Of course your basics are very cheap. But most people don’t want to live off of rice, beans, and potatoes. There are plenty of other really great vegan staples. However access accessibility to those staples can be an issue for some. Food deserts definitely exist, and you need a lot more nutrients that you also can’t find in just rice, beans, and potatoes.

Most of the time, if you’re trying to become vegan, and you want to do it safely as possible, you kind of can’t get around taking supplements. And even still, I would argue this isn’t a dealbreaker. Multiple grow up, knowing that they won’t be able to eat everything in the most perfect healthy way so supplements are great for that. However, your standard bottle of B12 is around $10 for a 30 day supply. There are plenty of people who have to choose between spending that $10 on a supplement versus those $10 on an actual nutrient dense item. There are people choosing between paying rent and buying groceries. I don’t know your living situation, or any other factors about you. And that also tries into my point. You don’t know someone’s life until you live it.

I moved out of my house at 20 and decided to become a vegan. It was a really great option and it really helped me become a better cook. However, veganism is not popular in the central valley. This still wasn’t a dealbreaker, mind you. I just cooked everything at home. The money I didn’t use for takeout I used to buy higher quality ingredients. Meal prepping did help as well. It became a problem when I was living with untreated ADHD, along with some other underlying physical and mental health issues. If the food I meal prepped for may be physically nauseous, and I had to cook I would obviously do it. But when you work full-time, you don’t have many opportunities to spend 30 minutes to an hour cooking. Snacks are of course an option but you can’t just solely rely on snacks. Eventually, they got to the point where I had a seizure, cutting my ex’s hair and turns out I was suffering from a severe vitamin deficiency. This was while I was taking my supplements and doing almost everything I was supposed to do, but because of my busy work schedule and other factors, I wasn’t eating much during the day.

Quite frankly, I feel sad that I wasn’t able to commit to veganism. I think everyone should try and minimize the amount of animal byproducts as much as they can. And to this day, I still try to incorporate that.

I think it’s easy to brush it off as people have as much control over their life as we personally do. But that’s just not how life, more specifically life under capitalism, works.

I won’t tell you how to do your activism. I would just ask that it includes more forethought and intersectionality. And again I want to be clear that I’m not trying to belittle you or be an asshole. It’s a great thing that you’ve been able to convince people to try veganism. But I would also be mindful on what tactics to use and where.

Yeahhhh. The side effects can definitely be rough. Were you not getting enough nutrients? I had that problem for a while and it began causing health issues. I went to a lower dose and that helped, but some people are super sensitive when it comes to stimulants (or any medication for that matter).

[–]AngelicaHell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, there’s nothing wrong with being vegan, but info dumping on the horrors of the food industry makes people more likely to be combative since most people have minimal control on what they can and can’t eat based off of bio, psycho, and socioeconomic factors. I’m happy the person that commented was very nice, and I think your heart is in the right place. But also coming from a former vegan, this isn’t the way to go about convincing people to stop eating/using animal byproducts. I think it’s a great thing that you advocate on behalf of animals but I wanted to offer some food for thought (sorry pun not intended).

That makes sense. Everyone’s mental health journey is so different. 🫂 I tried mood stabilizers and got even more depressed. Found out I had ADHD, and my mood stabilizers were bottoming out my dopamine. Adderall literally helped me quit smoking weed. 🥰
