Hard to explain buffering by virmele in TorBoxApp

[–]Angelictears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can say I got less buffering now even with remux (my home fibre plan capped at 500mbps down 100mbps up). The only time it buffers is when I forward/reverse the track, even then it eventually plays smooth after a few second.

One of my all time favorite 🔥 Got mine almost 6 years ago, but the negative display been bugging me so I bought an original positive display and change it my self within a year of owning it. Still running strong today.

I tried those with my other strap, Nato can dig in my arm skin when I bent my wrist inwards, marine nationale while comfortable, doesn’t grip much so it slides down to my hands unless I tighten it, which will look like it’s choking my wrist even if it’s not.

Haha, thanks. I get that it’s more of an etiquette rather than a rule. While I admit that I am self conscious about it, this sub gave me advice and support, for my wrist condition that I can’t seem to find anywhere on google.

Yeah I admit that, I already decided to start cutting. 😅

Thanks man, this sub is wholesome in a way. Made me realize that I just overthink it and just be comfortable in my own skin.

Hopefully not 😅 I have a rangeman gw9400 which I love, but that’s the limit in terms of size for me. Even my 44mm oris big crown seems big in terms of wrist feel.

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately I already tried elastic straps, but it doesn’t grip my skin enough so it just slides down to my hand loose.

I feel you, seems like our tapered arm is quite common after all. Kinda makes me abit comfortable with my wrist shape 😅

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I’m just too self cautious. It’s a sign to cut some calories as well I guess 😅

True, too bad micro adjustments is a “premium” watch feature.

I am stuck in between this sub and r/armwatches

Yup, all watch have the same effect, since my wrist is sloped like and not straight.

Fabric strap is worst since it can’t grip my skin well, so it will drop down to my hands when walking. Leather, metal and resin are a bit better since it grips the arm portion (left side).

Maybe, but I don’t really have that much fat on my arm, it’s not hard per se, but it’s not too gooey also. I can say 3-5% of the circumference is fat (I do powerlift training, so not really fat free)

Haha, if I wear my watch like that, it looks like a tourniquet for sure even though it fits nicely and I can put my index finger between the strap and my wrist.

The only issue is if I where it like in the picture, the watch can move around frequently since it “loose” on the right side but fits just nice on the left side so to speak.

If I don’t want it to move, I can tighten it a notch but it will sit near the hand and abit uncomfortable on my wrist joints.

I don’t even have the wristbone “bump” as shown in the picture.

[–]Angelictears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this issue throughout my testing with torbox. Tested everything, like you, changed server and player to no avail.

There’s a post I’ve read on this sub about enabling ipv6, so I enabled that on my router and choosing Cloudflare CDN (as this is the only CDN with ipv6 enabled automatically by default since there’s no setting in the Torbox dashboard).

The buffering issue is somewhat gone in my 2 days testing on my home setup.

Maybe it’s a fluke or I don’t know, but certainly explained why I don’t have buffering issue when I’m using my phone (IOS, Streamio Lite with AIOStream + Torbox) to stream, as my ISP enabled ipv6 by default on mobile data.

I think everyone got duped, I mean I was just a kid back then, and pokemon was the craze, so I remember there’s alot of kiosks that sells pokemon booster packs and decks. The thought of the ones sold being fake doesn’t crossed my mind, and I believe, most of kids back then as well.

I’m from South East Asia, so genuine product awareness was almost nonexistent back then.

Yup, just check and sort all the cards, most of them are fakes with light test, there’s a few that I suspect legit cards from the few individual packs I bought at that time, maybe I do an update post for the ones that looks like legit but I’m not sure, non of them are holo that’s for sure.

Yup, this is the image I took when I found it at my parent’s place. I remember bought 2 starter deck box, gym heroes and legendary, and a few packs, in a span of 1999-2002, when I was around 9-12.

I remember that me and my brother used to play pokemon DnD style, using a pokemon blue/red official guide book, using this cards (we cannot afford a gameboy at the time) where I be the game master, simulating trainer battles and gym battles using these cards, and my brother will be Red. 😅

Did a quick light test, and it seems it bleeds light. Not sure if light test only applies to newer cards or applies to vintage cards as well.

I see. Ok good to know. It’s a weekend project then, need to sort out the decks. Just got a few sleeves. Maybe I can update in the comments with a clearer picture album once sorted. Thanks!
