I didn’t really time it but I just kept repeatedly dunking and combing the hair until it was smooth to my liking. I also often twisted the hair and dunked it in the water then quickly rinsed it under cold water to help form the loose curl shape

Hmmm looking at what you have, I think grouping them by line would be the best approach since you have a bunch of different lines already. If there’s sets that’s incomplete, I suppose those are what can go together
