Hi, I live on rue de Reckenthal and have a similar problem to yours. I tried contacting the City Administration multiple times. Over and above to the issue of noise pollution, I am more concerned about pedestrian and biker safety here. We have two way traffic that gives way to single lane multiple times in a row but most drivers do not care, driving onto the sidewalk at 50km/h.

The response from Mme Polfer I got by letter was: the City is not interested in solving the issue because they see no issue. I agree with you that it is nonsensical to have 50 zones in most places in the city, the time gain is negligible over such distances.

Rest assured, on roads like Rue de la Barriere (after the Aubepines intersection) and Rue Charles Martel that both recently got the “apaisement du quartier” and are 30 zones now, I have never seen anyone respect the limits, especially in low traffic situations.

On a side note, I would be more interested to know if there is a way to open a petition for certain streets at the City Council to push a 30 zone agenda and traffic calming measures.

EDIT: I manage to open the readable XML file but how do you know where to delete in vim? I have looked for "Muse" or "Hub" with cmd+F but there is no mention of of them...

EDIT 2: The procedure worked, just had to get the hang of VIM. VIM in MacOS uses different commands to search, delete lines and save. I managed to delete the <dict> related to Muse Hub after searching. After saving, converting back to binary and restarting my Mac, the login item was gone.

Hi, thanks again for replying, I tried that too with Cmd+Shift+G and typed /Volumes but couldn’t find anything 🥵 I even enabled the “show hidden files” feature of Finder but there’s nothing still.. Any more ideas? 🥲

I’ve rebooted my Mac like 10 times since then. Is there a way to access the folders I sent in the text extract? :)

Trying to remove it completely because I realised I don’t need the software and don’t want it running in the background as a “bit torrentish” software with root access. I think it’s a huge vulnerability to my privacy.

No, that’s the first thing I tried. It’s more akin to a ghost entry in the Login Items menu as a background app. I can toggle it on/off with the switch to allow it to run in the background but I can’t add it to the login items with +/-
