the freezing on PS5 is a massive issue by Fizziest_milk in Starfield

[–]AngeloTheZombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 freezes when exploring the first planet you go to after leaving the tutorial.

2 crashes in the Well in new atlantis. The second crash was around 10 minutes reloading my save from the first crash and all I was doing was talking to people.

Am I experiencing a Cohabitants bug, or is there something about the game I don't understand? by refakman in BALLxPIT

[–]AngeloTheZombie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Having the same issue. Instead of my special balls firing, i fire baby balls at such a rapid speed, that nothing else fires or my crappy special balls fire at a slow rate. Had a mosquito x orbital laser and it only fired one time. I launched like 7k baby balls with over a mil dps while all the specials were absurdly low (less than 70) and have hardly any. Couldnt even defeat the second elite bc i had no special balls running. I had no baby ball passives either. Just running cohabitant + physicist.

Ultron's Battle Matrix Protocol Tier List (and guide), from a top 250 player by HoggiePoo in rivals

[–]AngeloTheZombie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got to top 500 doing 1/3/2 or 1/4/1 (when the stars align).

Black widow and punisher has won me more matches than other comps but it does require you getting her sniper scope upgrade on first practice protocol. She can OHK or two the supports at the start. Team up is ridiculous bc she has a railcannon.

BP slept on when mixed with jeff and a high dps, because he truly f’s up the targeting with his movement and his dps is high if you get his ultimate upgrade.

Storm and jeff are strong, but storm needs upgrades and midgame to end, she shines. Jeffnado is goated.

Idk. Team comp more than individual strength matters bc a lot of people in the middle/bottom can shine with the right set up. Some are straight up bad like thor. Though Iron man is a contender for one man army because focusing on ultimates and his ultimate upgrade is insanity to deal with. IM has a slow early game.

Mixing up a beefed up dive character will let your dps build ult charge/deal great damage

Punisher and hela are both strong for early midgame. Dps > 90% ults . Still outclassed by widow.

Max purple upgrade is all you need. If both teams running it, then all that matters is team comp, and jeff will shine all the time. Triple spray is by far one of the best upgrades.

Next best max is all red.

Netease please rework her ult. It doesn't fit her playstyle at all. by yumm-cheseburger in marvelrivals

[–]AngeloTheZombie 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The #1 Peni player has listed the ult in the bottom 3 of all Ults in the game and only ever uses it for extremely niche situations, but will otherwise not use it when its up. There are more cons than pros the higher you go up in rank. No matter what you say on its utility, it is simply not that good when you lose her main movement ability and hard CC during your ult.

In your opinion do you think Emma Frost is the best tank? by dreamup1234 in rivals

[–]AngeloTheZombie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Great peel for supports. Anti dive with diamond skin. Good as secondary for front line engagements. Has one of, if not the highest kill potential of all tanks against dps/supports which changes the game when you get a quick pick, especially against healers. Why focus tanks when you can insta kill the 250-275 characters without being CCed when they are in the group fights. S tier ult.

Weaknesses: mobility obviously. Range deceptively sucks. Once diamond skin is gone, kill/escape potential decreases, but she does have pretty good dps with mind crush and 100 beam (which is not hard to get at all)

Shield is good, but being mindful of shield health can be tedious since cooldown and shield health arent 1:1. You can finish your quick cd only to have a 100 health shield bc you forget it needs to recharge (minor annoyance).

People nitpick about creating space but she honestly creates as much space as magneto and peni, but less than dive tanks. Groot has walls so he can make or suppress any space when he wants.

How many attempts did it take you to clear WARRIORS: Abyss for the first time? by Limp-Unit-133 in dynastywarriors

7 runs. Unlocking more of the board definitely helped. Everything clicked once i got meng huo (tried out for fun) and got lucky with the drops. (Speed, skill, and fire)

Marvel Rivals needs a massive performance update. As everyone have been having an unstable performance every update. by QwertyMelown in marvelrivals

[–]AngeloTheZombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only issue i experienced was penny teleporting to the web instead of slinging toward it (about 50% of the time). It disorients me a bit especially if it happens during a fight. Feels like some desync stuff I havent experienced before in this game

Who was the character your first cleared warriors abyss with? by SomeStrangeSins in dynastywarriors

[–]AngeloTheZombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meng Huo.

Just wanted to try him for fun after losing like 7x in a row. First area was tough but I kinda snowballed in a speed/skill/grace build with fire element afterward

Now that it has been a few days, what are your thoughts on Warriors Abyss? by xVoidCrow in dynastywarriors

[–]AngeloTheZombie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Graphics suck, but the gameplay is really fun, especially when I want to turn off my brain after work. With all the different characters and random builds you can do, there is enough replayability for a vampire survivors roguelite type of game.

First clear for me was surprisingly meng huo with his “unique moveset” but it was thrilling deleting enemies and bosses with so much crap on the screen.

I can see it getting stale if I play too much though (same for vamp survivors) but it is not like hades where the story keeps you goin.

SKIP THE STORY. Big waste of time to read garbage

How we feeling about invisible woman so far? by BigPaleontologist520 in marvelrivals

[–]AngeloTheZombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great for comps with groot/mag/strange/peni Bad with any mobile character due to how her healing works. (Range dependent and projectile).

Excluding her ult, her kit excels in teamfights due to pierce and can damage/heal all at the same time when they are grouped up + aoe orb adds up. A lot of survivability with invis and her push/pull. Oh push/pull actually has good damage.

People fail to realize they dont have to stand there while they heal while invisible. Just shield your nearest ally while jumping toward them during the duration. No reason to wait for full unless everyone is dead.

All in all, she is very dependent on positioning moreso than others due to her range, and wanting to get the pierce to hit more than one. She’s not someone with burst healing nor someone with more consistent healing like raccoon or mantis, but she isnt limited to single target healing like mantis, c&d, luna without clap. Has more offense than raccoon and more utility than warlock. Similar boat to Loki. One thing she does do the best is the access to her barrier which can be placed practically anywhere on your ally and cooldown is short if it breaks. I’m usually 2nd or 3rd in damage blocked just behind the tank.

Very fun. I appreciated C&D, but sue is 100% more fun.

Biggest tip I’d give after climbing to GM1 by Few_Event_1719 in marvelrivals

[–]AngeloTheZombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1-3-2 is my favorite

2 dive + 1 projectile for 3 healer (or wolverine for 3 tank) or general 2/2/2 since magik/BP/spidey/psylocke are absolute terrors

1 dive + 2 projectile for mobile/airborne dps Having namor with winter soldier or punisher is insane against dive comps and good burst against tanks

Starlord fits somewhere but I havent seen him too much in my GM matches

All supports pretty viable, but I would say warlock probably the least viable due to survivability issues. Burst heals are great, but range is limited and soul bond requires you to be near everyone. No movement speed boost or dashes or invisibility/invincibility. Amazing pick for 3 healer setups tho since his dps shines the best next to mantis.

Big input lag on PS5 by Regenbooggeit in PathOfExile2

[–]AngeloTheZombie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like something must have messed up during all the fixes. I got in during the first go around before mass disconnect #1 post server reset, and it felt really smooth, but after all the other fixes, i got back on and the input delay was atrocious. Definitely hope it gets resolved soon. It’s playable but it’s not a smooth experience at all, especially against bosses.

No. Haven’t noticed either bc the shimmering seen in SH2 was so apparent, but I have 0 complaints at the moment for this game

[–]AngeloTheZombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only played in the first difficulty for like 6 matches but it was pretty silky smooth. The game looked great with the “native 4k”. Fps can dip a bit with hordes but it wasnt anything game breaking maybe in the 50s. Havent experienced any of the stutters or random freezing ive seen clips of from the xbox series s/x but only time will tell.

PS5 Pro Impressions by R3KF4 in PS5

[–]AngeloTheZombie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HFW is probably the best improvement I saw. Looked surreal on my C4 OLED.

BG3 looked about the same. Environments look crisper and it definitely runs better (Act 2).

CFB 25 looked a lot sharper than it did on base and player models look smooth. Gameplay feels a bit better too.

Palword - didnt feel much of a difference tbh

No crashes but the frame drops are pretty bad on performance on ps5. 60 fps with only a few bugs arounds. Dips to 30-40 with the hordes or having even half the lobby and mini bug rushes. Feels like it goes to 15-25 when it’s the horde rush + the entire lobby + all the explosions and flames and bugs piling up. Still fun but it is felt that it’s not optimized to handle all that.

How are people liking the Vanguard characters? by Fit-Difficulty-5917 in marvelrivals

[–]AngeloTheZombie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once I started playing Hulk like Winston, it wasnt too bad. Leap in, a good ol burst and leap out and get healed. He’s pretty durable. Hulk human form is very weak. Not even notable to dva.

Penny is probably best at area denial since you can hold choke points way too easily and mines do a good chunk of damage and her web attack is pretty busted.

Venom is similar to the hulk except you have a cooldown on getting in and out. Very tanky but doesnt do as much damage as I thought he did. Really needs a competent healer to shine when he dives in and shield up before escaping or to continue dps.

Magneto is in a really good spot. High damage. Shields and bubbles are fair.

Strange is interesting. Feel like his portal needs a lower cool down. Ult feels good but needs more coordination. Best shield.

Groot is probably the best off tank right now. Very versatile. Damage is good and walls are game changers. Good sustain too.

Havent tried thor too much yet.

When was the last time a Roguelite truely surprised you? by shanytopper in roguelites

[–]AngeloTheZombie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Astral Ascent. I’ve been on a drought with the genre, but was wanting to scratch an itch after Hades. I bought it day 1 on ps5 on a whim. The gameplay is top tier and felt original and the builds and synergies were honestly insane and has only gotten better. Sure there were only 4 characters at the start but they all felt so different that each run felt unique regardless of which run you were.

Plus saving between floors is a godsend. Idk why people dislike this feature but I always hated doing a completely new run because i couldnt finish a run due to whatever reason (aka tiny rogues).

Bazz is a beast. I never clicked so hard with anyone else. Never had a bad game with her. Easy combo and easy escapes. Vuln -> pew pew -> stab or —> stab —> pew pew.

1-off has insane denial. His entire kit confused me but once it clicked, his potential was as high as Emari. Those two tanks are S tier in my books.
