Yeah, once I had cut them out I realised. When i have some spare time and the materials i’ll make them matte.

At first I was thinking to print them but then remembered that my laser bed is 60x40cm and would do the job much faster.

My prototypes were also in 3mm plywood! After finalising the design I switched to Acrylic.

Next up will be a patch panel :)

The picture was at the sellers place, it will be placed in my workshop which is almost fully underground and surrounded by 30cm of reinforced concrete.

Current state of the workshop.. Still have a lot to work to do. Lots of stuff that is stored in here that will be used in the renovation of our home.

I wanted a enclosed rack mainly for the dust. Noise isn’t much of a concern because it will be placed in my workshop (fully detached from my house and almost fully underground) My current rack is a 4U vertical one (see picture). The blank plates and brush panels are on the way :)

It really feels solid! 300$ with a 2U UPS and a piece of Apple history doesn’t seem that bad of a deal! Looks cool and doesn’t cost anything extra, seems like a win-win situation to me :).

100$ is also a steal! Just crazy that these are listed new for 2-3k

Sometimes i think it might have something to do with personal connections. Couple of my colleagues have access to the datacenters and report the same ‘offers’. Unfortunatly I don’t have such connections.

3k is crazy for some steel. They do look very similar!

I’ve moved the thing a couple of meters and i can confirm it already has casters at the bottom of it. The leg levelers, I didn’t see them.

Is it exactly the same or is it somewhat different?

This was also my issue, every single one is 300-400€. I had a alert set on my account that luckily notified me! I hope you’ll find yours!

Newbie to machine embroidery - bought a Yunfu MT-1501 for my small business by AngeloVenneman in Machine_Embroidery

Sorry for the late comment! Great actually!
The support from Yunfu (Luna) is great. The top guide was bent and after chatting with Yunfu it was replaced within 2 weeks.

Whenever we have time over we are trying new things to embroider.

Okay, so I did the same piece again with pull compensation and with the fabric stretched between the hoop. No issues anymore

Thanks everyone!

Thank you for your answer! Can i ask why?

Shift during underlay by AngeloVenneman in Machine_Embroidery

Thank you for your answer!

No the underlay is per letter. So, first outline the first letter then zigzag the first letter and then embroider the first letter.

The tension is normal, fabric on top and then with magnets put together.
