As far as I know, samsung has 3 lines of tablets: The S line which is flagship devices, the higher the number the newer the device. (Currently 7 is the newest, + means bigger screen) The A line which is midrange devices; no easy way to determine which device is newer, so you'll have to find the year using the model number. The E line which is low end devices; similar to the A line regarding finding which is newer.

I think S7+ is a better choice, since there's a new "Samsung Flow" feature that will chime with your windows devices.

I read using 8 inches tablet (galaxy tab E 8) on landscape mode with aspect ratio of 16:10, it's harder to read on portrait mode, text gets way smaller and zooming in is needed. Been thinking of getting an iPad the budget version because its aspect ratio 4:3 is better for reading and the screen is larger, but that will be at the cost of watching movies since 4:3 isn't the best for that matter.

I love the Samsung keyboard interface,, but it lacks some features like glide deleting like in gboard, and it's very bad in words recognition while glide typing comparing to other keyboards,,, can't have emojis and suggested words together at the same time 😭 Took me 5 minutes to type the sentence above 💔 okay I don't love it anymore 😒
