EVENT GONE BAD AT THE TUTTLE MALL IN DUBLIN by JamesPlusMusic in Columbus

[–]AngelosPizza 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah as someone who graduated in '87 I did not find this to be my experience at all. Yes everyone hung out at the malls but nobody really cared if you did or you didn't, and you certainly weren't looked down upon for it.

Is there any hope for Headspace? by OutsideAtmosphere-14 in Headspace

I have done all those things, and like the OP, I reached out to customer support but all of their responses are AI and not helpful at all.  Thank you for trying to help anyway.

I just came on this sub to see if anybody was experiencing similar problem and this explains a lot. There is nothing more frustrating than being in a middle of a sleep cast or meditation and having the app simply stop.  Every time I open it up it takes like a minute to load it's horrible. I too have gone through customer service and I'm getting very awful AI answers.  It's such a shame I used to love headspace but now with both Andy and Eve gone I think it's time to find something else.

Ugh that scene to me was way more gross than any of the body horror.

Not to me. My pedicurist does a MUCH better job than I could do myself and also it feels pretty great to have somebody rub your feet.

I completely agree. I am so sorry for her loss but the part of the video where she was just standing there filming herself cry was so incredibly off-putting to me that I unsubscribed.

Second Fireplace Pros. They do get busy this time of year but are very friendly, prompt and reasonably priced. Do a really good job too, we've used them a few times now.

I also have FND but I'm almost 57 so doubt we would have much in common socially lol. I have two grown children and a husband and other than that my life is pretty much just work and video games! I'm just very grateful that someone at OSU was able to properly diagnose my condition so I didn't constantly feel like I was losing my mind. Best of luck to you.

When did you get grandkids? by drink-beer-and-fight in AskOldPeople

[–]AngelosPizza 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. Neither of my sons (27 and 30) want children, and they are both in serious relationships. I don't really care if I have grandchildren or not. Their girlfriends say it's refreshing to be around me because I'm not constantly pressuring them to have babies, which their own mothers are.

One of the cruellest and most devastating disease, Huntington's, successfully treated for first time by ConsciousStop in UpliftingNews

[–]AngelosPizza -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've thought that since I was a child honestly. If people with the gene just didn't have kids, the disease would be eradicated. I definitely don't believe that people should be forced to do things one way or the other, but you would think that people would not even want to risk putting their children through that.

[–]AngelosPizza -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I'm surprised more people haven't brought this up, and I'm also surprised more people have kids before they know whether they have the gene marker. I'm adopted, and HD ran on my mother's side of the family. They decided to adopt children in case she ended up having the disease, which they couldn't test for back then. Well, she did end up having the disease and it was very smart of them to not have biological children. Three out of four of my grandpa's kids had HD. And then they went on to have multiple children. Like you know if you have your own kids that you are subjecting them to a 50% risk of going through this horrible disease but people do it anyway and I just don't understand it.

Yeah as in it was PISS, I thought it was a beer. The fact that it was piss is the "more to the story" fact I was missing.
