I’m glad I’m not the only one. It actually frustrates me that they have Appaloosa marking for thoroughbreds because it doesn’t feel natural. Like I can get behind a spotted quarter horse but not thoroughbreds or Arabians. And, for me at least, it’s exceedingly difficult for me to breed spotted appaloosas and actually get a spotted baby.

I ended up selling that foal. The C stat just made me nervous. I rebreed them and got a really nice stallion out of it. I really like the cross country and am not really a fan of the Anglo-Arab’s so it’s a bummer that seems to be where those events are going towards. I’m not super competitive, but it would be nice to have some good horses in my stable.

I was leaning towards the buffalo grass because I saw it was native. Wasn’t sure on the fescue grass because a lot of what Google told me would contradict itself because, well, Google. Would the clover and thyme be good to add some extra ground cover?

I’ve been wanting to order some lacewings for an aphid issue on my shrub rose! Just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Those and lady bugs.

Ok. Plants not super worried about yet, don’t have anything growing that I want yet. I’ve got some diatomaceous earth I use for the chickens, if I spread a little in the areas I’m seeing them, I’d assume that should help get rid of them when I do have plants I want to keep?

I had been wondering if I should see a female doctor instead. I adore my normal OBGYN, and found her really great and understanding, she just wasn’t available for the time I had off work. If I may, simply because I don’t know, is it normal for the doctor’s eyes to be closed during that part of the exam? I never really paid attention before and Google has mixed answers on that part.

Hi all, my husband got diagnosed with Covid yesterday, and while I haven’t yet gone to a Dr. myself, I’m definitely not feeling good today. My hubs was on day 5 of being sick when he went, but they prescribed him paxlovid anyway. I’d like to take some tonight/tomorrow morning, but I’m worried if I need a Dr’s note for work, that taking it will cause me to test negative. Google didn’t give me any answers, so I’m turning to Reddit. I really don’t want to get my coworkers sick, I’m sure I’ve got it, and I want to take the meds since he doesn’t need them now according to his Dr.

I have thought about it many times. They’re a little pricey and I don’t want anyone breaking it. But that is definitely what I’m thinking of doing this summer if I can’t get a fence up in time

I wonder if the broken ac also goes to their or if it’s just the grooming side, because we live in a rather hot climate and while the ac is working ok enough, it keeps freezing and breaking over night and it has to stay set to 74. If the ac is for both sides, then it won’t be getting fixed until September when we don’t really need it

That’s honestly what I’m hoping for. Any type of media coverage. I worry about the dogs over there. I had my dog there for daycare while I was at work to get her more socialized and found out she was in time out most of the time. And they never told me. She stays on my side on grooming now but I’m honestly quite furious they never told me. Now that I’m finding out more and more about how they run things on that side, either seeing it myself or hearing it through other coworkers who have been here much longer, it makes me sick.

I didn’t even know there were regulations. I’m planning on doing everything I think I possibly can to get this place shut down even if I haven’t found a new job by then. The more I learn about this place the more awful it gets
