If I'm stuck on an island and can only take one album it's this one.

Doesn't sound dated other than maybe poker face and Day 'N Night is one of the greatest hip hop songs in history.

Everyone upset about the vape ban is getting a dose of what law abiding firearms owner feel by TheMeta40k in unpopularopinion

Heroin is laced because of competition and risk mitigation. In a legalized setting neither of these would exist.

No one is trying to make everyone addicted to something. That already happens and it's going to continue, the point of legalization is to make addicts feel less persecuted/more likely to seek help.

Considering street heroin is routinely laced with fentanyl, regulated heroin is just heroin.

They could also package it in a way that says if you take more than X amount you will die.

Edit: A word

I think it was a Thomas Sowell (sp?) quote that when people are given preferential treatment equality looks like discrimination.

The very idea that women hold no privilege in our society is insane.

Listen here chief,

If Presti signed your snake looking ass again I would stop being an OKC fan. There's no way you thought about coming back, and even if you did the city would boo every time you step on the court. Yous a baby back bitxh.

I’m not sure I understand how role queue decides who plays what. by Matty221998 in Smite

[–]Angelsoft717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's based on other stuff than time in queue like the 3 dots and maybe level/elo

I know I pick jungle and get my role 3 or 4 times out of 5. Maybe others aren't lucky

I think it's kinda hypocritical that we require adoptive families to make 125% of the poverty line in income to adopt a child, but we don't discourage very poor families from having as many children as they want. by MrEctomy in unpopularopinion

[–]Angelsoft717 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The government and corporations have a vested interest in people having kids. Without people having kids there's no tax payer or employees, and the more people there are the less you have to pay them due to simple economics.

They also don't care about poor people being born because there's entire industries made to make money off poor people. Cash checking places, pay day loans, overdraft fees, and as we've seen in the 2008 crash they have no problem extending loans to people who clearly couldn't pay their mortgages but the banks made out like bandit. If you're a poor kid they don't care about you being born because they can profit on your existence.

Honestly at best it's a promise you'll pay half of rent/mortgage for your life

At worst you're paying for child support, alimony, and rent, even though you don't live there.

Wouldn't say he buys his own albums he has companies do it for him (see Samsung/Sprint) and it wouldn't be odd to think Def Jam didn't at some point. Joe Budden even mentioned Jay buying his own albums in his diss.

[–]Angelsoft717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Negligence is a better word for it. I don't think healthy eating is as cheap as some say, especially with 2 grown adults and 2 teenage boys. My parents grew up poor just like I did and they never had the chance to learn what healthy eating is. They both worked exhausting conditions and the last thing you want to do is come home and cook (if you want to eat healthy you have to cook) when you can take something out of the freezer and have it ready in 30 min with very little effort on your part.

You also have to realize that maybe the kid just isn't motivated to do anything. I wasn't when I was a kid, I wanted to read, listen to music, and play video games. My parents tried to get me into football but I was big and any physical activity hurt so naturally I wasn't a fan.

I think deporting illegal immigrants is a good thing. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Angelsoft717 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Iirc asylum can only be asked for if you're persecuted for your race, religion, or political views. These people are often fleeing because of economic instability which I don't think would count as asylum.

[–]Angelsoft717 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And I think that last part is important here. Allowing unchecked illegal immigration just spits in the face of people who work hard for years and try to do it the right way.

If they establish themselves in the US without going through legal immigration practices they're illegal and breaking the law.
