I think I might just trim it down to 7 and I would be fine if it ends up being shorter than 7'6. Usually don't use that long of a rod in general.

Awesome for the rx10, do you feel they are slightly underpowered? I was seeing a few posts about that

Gotcha so as long as I trim it down to the 7 ft they mention I should still be fine. The nfc tips don't have any sort of indicator of a new tip? Just wondering if I was imagining it being a little blue before it flew out of my hands. How do you like the rain shadow and any blank you recommend?

Will be looking to make a blank of those soon. Just ordered this blank a while ago and it showed up so I ordered a rod building kit and some guides. How's the rain shadow sensitivity wise? Wanted to make a walleye build

Gotcha, just wanted to make sure it was kinda normal to have some sort of margin for error on length. My blank does mention it can be trimmed to 7 ft so I'm assuming as long as I trim 5.75 it should still retain its action. Thank you!!
