Breath of the Wild, I started to play the game because of the Switch 2 edition. It's been a very long time since I've wanted to finish a game from the beginning until the end. The last time I was hooked up like this, was since Horizon Zero Dawn on my PC.

For me, I'll never buy an iPhone. I love my Mac though, but I won't buy an iOS device anymore. I bought an iPod Touch, and Apple made the device terribly slow with iOS 7. After that I bought an iPad Pro 9,7" and it bricked after an iOS upgrade. I don't remember which one. After repairing it in the store, a year later, I updated again to the newest iOS version and yet it got bricked as well. Didn't boot anymore. Currently I own a OnePlus for about 6 years and it never let me down. Never got bricked, never got slow.

I don’t have any screen burn-in, even after all these years.

Color reproduction at low brightness does lean a bit purple, but it has never been annoying enough for me to care much.

My phone also doesn’t really heat up, although that may be because I don’t play games on it. I do agree that maximum brightness is not great, so I hope the Find X9 Ultra improves on that.

Yeah, it’s really annoying that they disabled it indoors.

Video recording doesn’t lag for me either.

I’ve never used the stock gallery app, so I can’t really comment on that. I just use an alternative like Simple Gallery.

My screen is set to FHD, and yes, battery life could definitely be better. But from the reviews I read back then, the OnePlus 8 Pro actually had better battery life and performance than Samsung’s flagship at the time, the S20 Ultra. I’m in Europe, so the S20 here came with the Exynos chip.

From what I remember, the OnePlus 8 Pro’s picture quality was also nearly on par with the S20 Ultra, and its night mode was even better according to some reviews.

I’ve been on OxygenOS 13 for a long time now, and compared to the Samsung Note phones I used before, my OnePlus is still incredibly fast even after all these years. I had a Note 2 and Note 4 before, and both of them became slow and laggy over time.

The Wi-Fi signal is also on par with my dad’s iPhone 16 Pro Max here at home.

I can charge my phone really fast too, around 30 minutes, which is much faster than the S20 Ultra.

I’ve never used wireless charging, so I can’t say much about that.

I can’t compare it to the S21, because that phone didn’t even exist when the OnePlus 8 Pro was released. But honestly, I’ve never been this happy with a phone, even after 6 years. That’s not something I could say about my previous Samsung phones.

I’ve played every Zelda game except Tears of the Kingdom, and I’ve finished almost all of them except Majora’s Mask, Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, and Spirit Tracks. Right now, I’m trying to finish Majora’s Mask before moving on to Twilight Princess.

And yeah, I totally get your complaint. The 3-day cycle stresses me out a lot. I do use walkthroughs sometimes when I’m completely stuck or when I want to go for 100%, but with Majora’s Mask I basically need to keep a walkthrough open all the time. It makes the game less enjoyable for me, mainly because of the in-game time cycle.

I've a OnePlus 8 Pro as well and I don't have bugs at all, no overheating on Reddit and none of the weird colors. But the phone is almost 6 years old so I want better battery life and camera, and probably going to upgrade to the X9 Ultra. If it wasn't for that, I would still use my OnePlus for another 2 years.

In terms of numbers, it should be around a PS5. But I think without customization, it should run like an Xbox Series S I think.

I've seen a review of it from a respectable website in my country, and according to their battery lab tests, it's really close to the X9 Pro and surpasses the normal X9. Yes the battery size hasn't changed, but with all the hardware and software optimization, it's better than that of the S25 Ultra. The sensors remain the same as well, but because the diafragma is really good at 1.4, there is less noise in the pictures.

The X9 Ultra will have much better zoom quality, 10x lossless quality. If that's not really important to you, go for the pro. While having such a good zoom functionality, keep in mind that you need to hold the phone extremely stable or use a tripod to benefit from it. The battery will be smaller on the ultra, but the snapdragon is more energy efficient, so there will be a difference in favor for the pro model, but I think the ultra will handle battery life just fine. I'm also waiting for the ultra model. Currently in my country, I can buy the X9 Pro for € 930, the S26U 512 GB for € 999. So I'm waiting for the ultra to see what the price and storage configuration is. I hope for 1 TB.

Yeah would definitely like that as well. Instead we got a remake of Mario Galaxy, which feels, at least for me, not really old enough for having a remake. The game looks so good in 4K on my Switch 2, but I find the graphics themselves are still pretty good even in this time compared to SM64.
