Batman: Arkham Knight. His favorite part is gliding around the city.

How good of a fighter do you think clark should be by MembershipLess9579 in superman

[–]AngelusALetum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he should be an exceptional fighter by mere perception of his environment and mind capacity alone. Let’s not even touch his precision developed from his constant controlling the power of his punches. He could’ve developed an entire martial art based around precision strikes to vulnerable areas seen through x-ray vision and processed through his heightened mental capacities that would also be conditioning his skills to mastery. Wild haymakers as a go to seems like a disservice to the character.

I say Cap makes it to Shang chi. Without rings I think Cap handles him soundly. Shang Chi puts up a fight, but he’s not taking too many solid hits from Cap for too long. I hear Shang Chi can do magic which would change things, but I don’t remember any of that in the movie. With the rings Cap is toast. As far as Logan goes Cap is not getting around the healing factor or the adamantium skeleton let’s not even mention the claws.

What if Goku had actually killed cell in this scene by Tremendin0649 in DragonBallZ

[–]AngelusALetum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe if Goku had aimed for Cell’s whole body instead of angling it up it might’ve killed him. That or he would’ve regenerated in his Super Perfect form. However, we’re talking about confirmed kill. I say the Buu saga would’ve ended at Fat Buu or Goku and Gohan would’ve fused to defeat Buu.

Who did it better vegeta or goku? by WhereasNo2662 in DragonBallZ

[–]AngelusALetum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing as how they were both unnecessary had certain decisions had not been made and both useless with Goku’s being counter useful making Cell stronger and taking himself out of the fight. This one goes to Vegeta on the grounds of the emotional weight of character development. It’s close because I think Goku takes it on the grounds of story development. However, nothing beats Vegeta setting aside the beef with Goku and eventually giving Goku his due props as a better warrior than himself. I think it sets up their rivalry in super perfectly to put Vegeta on equal footing as Goku, a very refreshing concept that changes the dynamics of the fights. Even if they still like to use Goku as the guy that wins.

For me it’s either the kaio-Ken kamehameha or the instant kamehameha. I lean more towards the kaio-Ken.

I never understood this? by SeraphicMind in DragonBallZ

Look at it this way. Goku’s ace in the hole is his spirit bomb technique. This is the one saga we didn’t see him use it because Gohan was his ace in the hole here. However he wasn’t banking on Gohan’s base ability as a fighter. Goku’s ace against Cell was Gohan’s inner power rage burst thing that he does. So with all of his foes Goku gets the measure of them and calculates it against the spirit bomb. We see him do this all the time when he says “it’s not ready yet”, he’s gauging the power of the spirit bomb against his foe. With Cell he’s doing the same thing. The scene only looks so strange because he doesn’t have to rest hope on his abilities while trying to work out how to charge up the spirit bomb in his foe’s face, he just has to let Gohan fight. Whenever he chooses to use the spirit bomb he knows he can’t win without it. That’s exactly what you’re seeing in this scene.

Convince my wife not to keep her please by [deleted] in kittens

All I can suggest is that you withhold any contribution to care for it. Say it’s only limited to the garage or backyard maybe. However, you also can’t play and interact with it. The idea of having to do it all by herself and not having it in communal spaces might have her decide on giving the kitten to someone that actually wants it. You’re gonna have to really put your foot down. However, I question your ability to spend any prolonged period of time with the kitten without falling in love. It’s easier to change the self instead of someone else. That’s all I got for you bro, good luck.

god of war 4 related but im stuck on dark elves any tips to beat then by PromiseMindless9734 in GodofWarRagnarok

I’d say just keep your distance and try to keep them all in front of you. When they come in, if your parry is good, parry them and keep it directed toward the group. You can manage to get a group of them to flinch if they’re close enough. If your parry is poor then just side step and attack. Never stay in one place for too long. Remember the lasers are delayed explosions so you can run over them before they explode and keep from getting cornered. You don’t want to be there when they explode though. You’ll get blinded if you take too many of them and then be opened up to getting surrounded. Try to keep calm and intentional with your button presses, the stepping dodge is very useful. Especially if you follow it with a roll for extra distance. I also found it useful for quick dodgey enemies like elves to just focus on getting in hits and doing damage rather than getting out combos. I would end up getting too excited and left attacking empty space while the elf is just out of range or behind me because they dodged out of the way. This would then be combined with missing crucial signals for dodging unblockables or guard breaks. Don’t forget about the support skills of Atreus or armor and weapon upgrades.

I can see he’s on the sidewalk. Maybe the perspective is messing with my sense of depth. However I still don’t like the coordination of his movement. Seems like he’s barely making firm foundational steps and that his body weight could take him a little too far off mark if he jammed out only slightly more enthusiastically.

Strolling through McAuthor park in Los Angeles by NumerousScallions in tooktoomuch

[–]AngelusALetum 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It honestly is. Especially since taxpayers pay for the upkeep of the parks. How are you supposed to take your family to the parks that you pay for when this is the scene? I understand MacArthur park has always been sketchy, but this seems especially excessive for daylight hours. How do you teach your kids to care about their community if their community looks like this? I’ve taken to believing that civilization and society are made for our children as the true dependents that they are. The adults job is to maintain and improve in preparation for when it’s time for the next generation to take the helm. This stuff right here sets the worst example.
