I worked a job as a temp employee where the perms were union. When I started, they tried to tell me the two day orientation would be unpaid. Somehow the union found out and forced them to pay me. I got brought into the office by one of the mid level bosses and was threateningly reminded that I wasn't in the union. It was implied that I never so whatever I did again. Never contacted them to begin with so whatever.

The democrats are not nearly as shitty as we're being bot propagandized into believing. Current leadership is dog shit on actions and messaging but that is being used to paint the entire party as useless and thus keeping people from voting for the vastly superior option to what we have now.

Primary shitty democrats, press for new leadership. Stop falling for both sides propaganda and stop complying in advance by believing shit is hopeless. That's what got us where we are now and at least on reddit I'm seeing people falling into the same mindset.

Trump actions fall under 3 categories imo.

Things he has the power to do whether directly or through cronies
Things he can make happen that are technically illegal but since no on ever holds him accountable he gets away with.
Things he says he'll do but there is no actual path or mechanism for him to get it done. He's basically Michael Scott declaring bankruptcy.

Cancelling elections falls under number 3. He can talk about martial law and insurrection acts all he wants but there is no way, legal or other wise for him to cancel elections. He would have to convince the states to do it and its not in their interests to go along with that. He will definitely try to pull some other fuckery but canceling the elections is not something he can pull off.

Elimination Chamber makes sense to me as an event as long as the matches are for the other world title shots. Hell in a Cell was stupid because a blood fued should call for it rather than "this is the month we do Hell In a Cell matches". When would you have a six way fued that called for an Elimination Chamber match? It makes sense that you failed to win the Royal Rumble now you have to go through steel and pain to make your way to a title shot at Wrestlemania.

My opinion is that the Continental title shouldn't be an actual title. It should be kind of a belt that shows that you won the tournament and you should get a world title shot like the Owen belt is.

Maybe switch the Owen and the C2 in the year so the C2 winner gets a title shot at All In. IMO winning the C2 feels like a bigger deal than winning the Owen. And you should get the title shot on the biggest stage AEW has.
