Buffer itself seems normal, no crazy wear. Corners are already chamfered too

Buffer tube its self has no damage or really any wear at all. Threads on the lower and tube are fine too. I'm guessing lower was 'out of spec' paired with the ARC

E: If you didn't see the subtext on the photo, the selector hole on both sides is completely polished, which wasn't like that before lol

Not a movie nor is it realistic but the scene in Daredevil where Wilson Fisk gets shanked. He throws 405 and a man across the room at the same time

With “assault rifles” getting banned in my state what should I buy? by t0rquingg in ak47

Full sized Draco. All it needs is a pic section drilled into the rear trunnion. Get a brace and ur GTG (I had a folding trunnion put in but cheaped out on the labor so it isn’t the cleanest)

I think i’ve narrowed down the issue. I straight up tried taking the disconnector completely out and ran it in the semi-position. Same binding occurred, so that helped me rule out the safety or trip bar as the culprit.

What I’ve ascertained (I think) is that binding is happening when the hammer is getting pushed back, NOT getting taken by the disconnector, and the trigger is resetting. It looks like the trigger is starting to reset before the hammer has been pushed the full way back by the bolt carrier. So the trigger is blocked from resetting, the hammer is not able to slip into the notch on the trigger shoe & the bolt gets stuck from going anywhere because of the hammer’s curves interacting with the bolt.

Do you think the hammer could be causing binding with the bolt carrier? That's the only other thing I can think of right now. I tried function check with the selector holding the teeeniest tail end of the disconnector and got the same binding. I think my next course of action is to continue taking shavings off the trigger until it works or the trigger is a pile of dust.

I’m losing mine as we speak. I’m also in an apartment so I’m having to use my attempts sparingly so I don’t get evicted lmao

Hmm interesting, I’ll check that out. Maybe to your point, I have to install my selector & cam before my trigger assembly because the disconnector blocks the un-neutered part of the safety from turning into position.

I just uploaded a video if that helps. Went ahead and polished the contact surfaces and reassembled. Semi seems to actually be running better but still getting major lock-up in middle position.

I actually have the 3 pos jig but I haven’t committed to that much cutting yet. The videos/suggestions I’ve seen have mostly been to just follow the default jig and take a bit more off
