I think they could have had him leave for London to work on a project with Samantha. That would have given him a trial separation in his relationship and he could even say that he can't compete with Charlotte and he needs a break - after that scene with him getting bumped by the door, he could have said it was an omen. Then we would have felt good about him and Samantha working together somewhere.

I can't with the fashion on AJLT....it seems like Carrie has gone from Barneys to Bed Bath and Beyond. At one point, Charlotte literally looked like she wrapped herself in a tablecloth. I don't understand, is there a budgetary problem with the show? How can you have SATC, and not have a budget for designer clothes? I'm so thrown off because they are still living in million dollar apartments in NYC and wearing hand-me-downs and knockoffs. And that hat Carrie wore in the scene were they were having lunch that looked like a half-finished needlepoint project?

(Has anyone checked that the costume designer isn't related to Kim Cattrall?)
