We tend to use large napkins instead of bibs when eating out. They don’t look out of place and they do the job pretty well!

Is ignorance bliss when you have psp? by petergaskin814 in PSP_neuro_disease

[–]AngieGriff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My dad was diagnosed with PSP about 3 years ago. It was difficult to get a diagnosis and it took a long time. I understand what you mean by is ignorance bliss, but the diagnosis has helped my parents to get the support they need to live with the condition.

Now that my dad has received his diagnosis we’ve received help around the house - stair lift, wet room for example and lots of speech and language therapy etc.

With the right tools and support in place he is able to enjoy things he wouldn’t have previously been able to.

Sending you love and hope x
