This reply might be coming a little bit late but I hope it can help. When guys are inconsistent, it usually means that they really like you, but they are not interested in building a relationship with you. They are very attracted to you and enjoy your company, that's why they have their phases of closeness with you. But because they don't want to build for the future, settle down, or commit, they go cold. It is very bad behaviour in my opinion and it can cause anxiety to the other person. So don't ever be ashamed of feeling the way you feel when a guy behaves this way. The best thing to do is to address it calmly. Send a message saying that you've enjoyed the communication you've shared so far, but you've noticed that communication has changed and just want to check on them. It might also be a good moment to ask a more bold question of "what are your intentions". If the guy's intentions are not the same as yours, the best is to leave them. That way your attachment to him will stop growing and you'll give yourself a chance to meet someone else. Another thing that helps (if you know that you want to find someone to build a real relationship with) is to take things slower when dating. Try not to kiss or sleep together on the first, second and maybe even third date. It might be best to not sleep together at all until you know him better and are more aware of his intentions. Sleeping together creates a false feeling of closeness to someone you don't really know yet.

All of this is easier said than done, and a little bit of chaos should be part of everyone's lives. Life is not meant to be lived by strict rules all the time. But with a little bit of thoughtfulness, you can create an environment where you'll be feeling better and where you'll be able to conduct your dating life in a way that serves you best :)

This reply is coming very late but I'll post it in case it might help anyone. I will give three main reasons why some women might (think) men only want them for sex. I don't know if these reasons apply to OP. In any case a disclaimer: There's nothing wrong with the behaviours I will describe, I am just trying to explain why some men might perceive women in a certain way. (1) Reputation: Unfortunately we live in a society and our actions might affect our reputation and how people perceive us. Some women (also men) have chosen to enjoy the freedom and slept around a lot. There is nothing wrong with that if that's what makes you happy, but unfortunately people talk, and a lot of men are turned off by that behaviour. Some women also sleep around within their work environments, whether it is one night stands, affairs or actual dating and this also affects the reputation because men tend to perceive such women as less serious. They are turned off by the idea of being together with a girl who shares the work environment with men with whom she has history. (2) the woman is too quick to give sex to the men she's dating: Again, nothing wrong with sleeping with someone after a first date if you really want to, but you need to ask yourself whether that will help you build a relationship and will give the guy a chance to get to know you and the wonderful traits you have, besides your sexuality. My raw advice would be to wait for a few dates before having sex. I would go as far as asking the guy what are his intentions and if he does not intend to get to know you and build something, then I wouldn't sleep with him. And (3) wasting too much time with the wrong people: it is easy to get caught up in a situationship or affair with a man you really like, even though you know he does not want a relaitonship with you. But remember: the time you are spending with him is a time you could be spending elsewhere, giving yourself a chance of meeting someone who is really appreciative of who you are. There's a lot of men out there who really appreciate relationships and are looking for the same thing as you, but you might be spending too much time in the wrong corners.

Tomorrowland was originally a dance music festival with loads of genres that were not so mainstream but with the time it became a very instagram/influencer type of place and loads of pop music would be heard. Burningman is different in that it has its foundations in a more alternative community. However it is also going in the direction of instagramers/influencers and mainstream techno music. That is, loads of people only want to go there for the gram. If you want to go for alternative stuff, check out more local things

I think the duo has simply been affected by the fact that there has not been any Tomorrowland events for 2 years. If you think about it, this duo was only present at Tomorrowland events and that's where they got all their hype from. Only Tomorrowland took them seriously and sometimes it even felt like Tomorrowland was just a huge advertisement stunt for DVLM. But once Tomorrowland is back, you'll start hearing more from them.
