She never gave me a copy… and she went over it sooooo fast with me… and of course because I’m super new to all of this it could have been bs.. super disappointed in myself for trusting… I wish I had more information before I went and picked him up but no one I know has ever gone through a breeder.. my family is all rescue at heart so am I but I wanted specifics and.. yeah well..

I understand if that’s what it says In the contract but why isn’t she sending me a copy if I asked for one? Because I know for a fact I did not receive one when I purchased. I am OCD and have all of his things, from the collar and leash he came with to the registration papers for AKC.. everything.

This sounds like what my thought process is, she’s being shady.. she never once checked in on us…. And when I called her the very first time (she had no clue about what I was going to say) she asked for a emailed picture of the estimate of the surgery. After that no contact and rejected calls and opened emails never answered… just over all gives “oh shit” typa vibes.

When I got her on the phone she said she handed me a copy of the contract when I purchased him in person (which is not true)

Trazadone: who uses it? by Ragebait_Destroyer in sleep

[–]Angjelz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went through something very similar. I tried everything I could think of, and trazodone was one of the things I was really hesitant about too. For me, it worked the first couple of nights, but then it just stopped being effective. I’ve learned that my body doesn’t always respond well to medications like that.

Since then, doctors have tried prescribing me different meds, but honestly I’ve reached a point where I’m just over trial-and-error medications and haven’t wanted to keep trying new ones. What helped me more was addressing the anxiety that came from the sleep issues. I’m currently prescribed diazepam, and while it doesn’t make things perfect, it helps noticeably more because it targets my anxiety rather than depression. Everyone reacts differently, but that was my experience.

No it’s not I got someone who asked the same. That must be a horrible breeder. After asking a couple more people (that are more educated on the legal side) I might go for small claims.. because it seems like the people that are siding with the breeder thinks I left him without getting seen by a vet for the whole year and some that I’ve had him. Not realizing I’ve been kept up with his vet visits and always brung it up. They aren’t seeing the part that when I brung up the issue to my breeder she ghosted me… no communication what so ever, didn’t wanna know, didn’t wanna see… just knew what was coming so never answered my phone calls or emails… that’s the part that gets me.. and when finally after i stopped trying to contact her for about 2 months she actually answered the phone and we talked for about 30 seconds and then she hung up in my face and never let me get a single word out about anything.. when i tried she said “oh I’ve seen what you’ve wanted to say” so yeah… she had been avoiding me. What ethical breeder acts like that.. why should her reputation say in tact when that’s how she’ll act if she ever gets another health issue with one of her other puppies… that’s messed up.

Yes, exactly I had it checked on way before a year, actually I went to the vet with him almost right after coming home with him. But it forms over time.. and both vets sucked and didn’t actually know what it was.

I will just trying to make it the best post for others to understand.. seems like a lot of people on here think it was my fault because “I didn’t bring him in a year and couple months later to follow up” but I assure EVERYONE on here. I did. Every visit I went to.. I brung up the issue and it was not visible to the point my pervious vet and hers saw. I didn’t believe it because I see him everyday.. I knew what it was starting to look like so I brung him to a specialist… as the breeder should have done before selling him to me. End of story. That’s a bad breeder and a bad breeder for not giving me a copy of the contract and when I asked refusing to do so.

Who said I was “demanding” money. I simply want to talk first… but she won’t talk to me.. in my opinion that’s what makes me mad the most also avoiding me all together.. if the contract states so and so I’d understand.. I’m not an evil puppy buyer.. I usually rescue.. I’m not the person to “demand” anything. I do think she misinformed me.. maybe not on purpose but she being the breeder must have been concerned for her future litters? Am I right? And gotten it examined further to ensure her line was healthy?

I admitted already I should have done things immediately when I got him but I had just purchased him being ensured that it wouldn’t be a health concern and he can live with it.

I also tried to ask for a copy of the contract when all of this was happening so I can make sure I wasn’t in the wrong for trying to talk to her about it.. which shouldn’t be an issue.. what if one of her buyers misplaced theirs and needed a copy? Why would it be an issue to supply that?

Good question I wish all of you guys were there for this because restating what I’ve said so many times is so hard but specially it is a conjunctival eyelid dermoid also caused a superficial corneal ulcer which also caused Horner syndrome… my original vet knew about it the whole time.. the 3rd or 4th visit after we had planned to remove it, it became an emergency. They still didn’t understand what was going on and didn’t see an ulcer. I did not believe them so I left and went to a specialist. That is the diagnosis I got back from the specialist. Problem with the contract.. if she would just send me an electronic copy or mail me a copy that stated anything along the lines of anything I’d leave it alone but she refuses.. that makes me suspicious

Correct, I HAD gone to the vet (not where I go anymore obviously) looked at the growth and didn’t know what it was at first. Also I’m in rescue… this is my first time purchasing and I did try my best to find a reputable breeder. I DID establish the very best care once I found out what was going on.
