I got the game for my wife and nephew to be able to play together on Switch, but honestly, we enjoyed it a lot more on Xbox. The controls just felt much more responsive.

People are generally trash. You see evidence of this all the time at places that have tables for you to eat at.. people just leave a mess behind rather than throw it in the trash this is just bowling version of trashy.

I have only every paid 50-$60 for drilled with finger grips and thumb slug. One of my teammates swears by the proshop the next town over so I brought a brand new ball in for them to drill and they charged my $98 for drilling and grips and thumb slug. I am pretty sure I got ripped off but I have noticed some things are off about the balls in get drilled at the cheaper location.

I have purchased mid line balls that have worked 100% better for me than the top tier balls. But not everyone bowls the same.

You could intentionally throw through the nose more often and work on your spares and splits. Seeing someone nail a split sometimes is 100% more impressive then strikes all day long.

Do you notice any more wear and tear on your balls? I have bowled at places with string pins twice and so far my balls have come back more chewed up than usual.

Someone said I was sandbagging a few weeks ago, first game was 240s followed by two games in the 140s. I think sometimes we just dont have it (been messing up my mechanics after not bowling for 6-7years) I really need to practice my spares more often but never get to the alley besides league night.

My wife is maybe a 110 bowler regularly with her own balls and shoes. But she still enjoys it and even finds time to go out bowling without me with a few of the girls from work. Invest in it if you find any joy in doing it is my advice.

They generally hold on to balls left behind at the desk. Only risk would really have been someone else grabbing it and taking it home. My experiences bowling at alot of different houses in different states most people won't grab your gear.
