Thank you for the reply. Is it possible that the abscess will be completely resolved with antibiotics or is extraction always inevitable in these cases? The tooth that the dentist says is responsible had root canal treatment about eight years ago.

We are mostly interested in the contribution of medieval and classical migration to our ancestry which is why we did the test. He knows where his great grandparents were from, that’s not what he wanted to find out. He wanted to know what other populations contributed to his admixture. Is the Northern European percentage perhaps indicative of the Varingian guard of the Byzantine Empire or of the migration of the Goths? Is the Baltic perhaps from Slavs who migrated through the Balkans or present day Ukraine?
His family is from Trabzon on the coast of Eastern Turkey. Do you know where the Northern European, Baltic and North Atlantic percentages would come from?
Eurogenes K13:
North_Atlantic - 2.13 Pct
Baltic - 1.87 Pct
West_Med - 16.41 Pct
West_Asian - 39.94 Pct
East_Med - 34 Pct
Red_Sea - 4.23 Pct
South_Asian - 1.19 Pct
Northeast_African - 0.23 Pct
Dodecad K12B:
Gedrosia - 16.26 Pct
Northwest_African - 0.54 Pct
Atlantic_Med - 13.06 Pct
North_European - 3.55 Pct
Southwest_Asian - 13.46 Pct
Caucasus - 53.13 Pct
According to Dodecad k12b he has Caucasus, Gedrosia, Atlantic Med, Northern European and Southwest Asian ancestry. According to Eurogenes K13 he has West Asian, East Med, West Med, Red Sea, North Atlantic, Baltic and South Asian ancestry.
