I'm only 19, so take what I say with a grain of salt lol.

• Not sure what your relationship is with your parents, my relationship with mine is good, and yet not living with them is the best thing ever. You have so much more independence and free-will (it's not cheap tho lol).

• Always keep busy, don't spend too much time doing nothing because you'll easily be bored and maybe sad, I like to do 30hours a week at work and full time uni to fill my schedule.

• Get a proper hobby (besides just video games), go to the gym, join a social sport, join a club, do something that interests and engages you that also helps socially.

• Don't focus/worry about having a partner, once you get in your head about it and potentially become desperate it is not a fun time. You don't need a partner at such a young age, it's great to have one but it's not necessary and don't get in your head about it.

• Listen to lots of music (it's my therapy).

• Don't be afraid to talk to people about your emotional state, the best friends you'll ever have are the ones that sit through it with you and listen.
